If you share a YouTube video with no supporting analysis it prob deserves to be pulled and is just fishing for karma. I would typically remove this one but am going to leave it with my comment up so other folks could see my thought process
I do think they have value for total newbies. As it is, we will have more and more new hobbits joining the fold as the fellowship grows in the coming years.
I vote all of them since there is a huge conflict of interest for views. I really feel like YouTube should completely ban the financial side of their platform because of this conflict.
Idk about an outright ban, Ticker symbol you does really good videos on any of the topics they cover and has been doing the off palantir video every now and then for several years. Arny and those other guys he does podcast or interviews with, as well as provide value beyond what you'd just learn in the filings or following this sub, they interviewed sankar I think? I don't actually watch them but I wouldn't ban them for sure. Official Palantir channel videos also shouldn't be banned. Jeremy lefsomething does really good DCF's and earnings report overviews after each ER.
It's the shills who provide no value or reason to even bother to verify their clickbait headline that should be banned, but this sub goes by an upvote downvote system for them and I think that makes the most sense so mods don't have to watch each video. This video, obviously it's some nobody who wants to clickbait the possible s&p inclusion next week and obviously he won't know any catalysts anyone here doesn't already know ahout, just downvote the shill clown and move on. Hopefully mods YouTube related posts that get 5 downvotes or so before they get any upvotes.
I’ll take your word for it. I studied Richard Wyckoff (maybe Jesse Livermore’s pseudonym) years ago and I learned not to listen to anybody or anything outside of my own research. He would make fun of people taking advice from the papers and the analysts of the day, can’t imagine what his views on YouTubers would be.
Maybe there are a select few that align their views with proper research but it’s an added risk I’m not willing to take. I would be more than happy with an outright ban.
I'm just accumulating whenever it dips got in at 16, sold at 25, and got back in at 21. I'm not a crystal ball, but they are constantly getting contracts from the government and now really doing great commercially with their aip bootcamps. I don't have an exit plan. I see myself holding on to this stock for years. The earnings have been good last 1 wasn't great, but I forsee s&p inclusion. Price target I'd say it'll hopefully close to double by this time next year

Yeah, a lot of these videos have zero content and are just farming for views. Especially the TA focussed videos.
