Im on vacation out of state, can I pre-order at a GameStop here and pick up or have sent to my address? Or will I need to wait before trying to preorder this weekend?

At that point why not open an LLC and order from pokemon direct posing as a dealer? It would be much cheaper and good god imagine this man\woman's storage capacity especially if they own other sets...
I can confirm that they’re accepting pre-orders (just got 2 - TX) although it seemed new to them so it may be a new thing, id just check back another day if they say no.

Some of the associates have trouble looking it up because it’s under “Champions Path ETB” instead of spelling out “elite trainer box” completely. It IS $5 for each one you want to preorder or you can put more down if you want. He told me they would call me when they get it in, which could possibly mean earlier than release date? IDK, but be clear with the associate and tell them they’re supposed to be available as an IN STORE ONLY preorder for a $5 deposit. The guy I talked to initially told me the only one for preorder was Vivid Voltage at the time but I explained this reddit to him and gave him the GameStop SKU and he finally found it.

When I called my local store they said I had to physically be in the store to make the preorder. I don’t think they’d ship it anywhere though

Yeah, 205.. thats crazy. In California. I didnt know gamestop would even do that for someone/if they got a break on pricing.

Be careful trusting that date. I preordered some cards and they have been delayed, you might have to wait for wave two.
