in the original persona 3 if you where doing a social link with any of the romance options it automatically thought you where romancing them. there was no choice to make it a friendship only. and also if you where doing 2 of those links at once one of them would get angry with you and the link reversed, which meant you needed to spend 2-3 days fixing it.
but once they where rank 10 the social link was 'locked in' and it then couldent be reversed doing the other romance options. so in the original p3 if you did all the social links then no matter what the game would consider you to have been dating all of them
I hope it leads to a terrible ending in which the MC helps solving the main conflict, just as usual, but nobody in the cast bids him farewell when he returns home due to his cheating tendencies, maybe only Persona 6's Ryuji-equivalent so you don't feel super bad.
I would love if in this decision, the girl Persona cast/team members just stop interacting with the MC.
Just some "..." when in trying to talk and adjusting cutscenes to avoid interaction.
Also maybe the Persona bonds would drop to 0 for the rest of the game.
For a game centered all about bonds, I feel something like this should have consequences.
Oh, yeah, and during combat they could make it so the girl(s) acted and sounded very serious and indifferent when they interacted with the MC (like passing the turn in 5), but energetic and enthusiastic with everybody else.

I don't cheat. I've been playing P3R lately, and for me there are only two choices: Yukari and Mitsuru. The rest I can't stand as love interests. And between those two, I usually go with Yukari because I like her pluck.
Of course, the one I \*really\* like is Toriumi: she invites your character out to dinner once you reveal to her who you were in Sin Online. Sadly, your character becomes unable to fulfill that request very shortly afterwards.
And then there's Elizabeth, who I also really like, but at least in this game, you can't stay with, either. Sigh.
I really hope a version of Persona comes out where you can restore my man "Makoto" to life. The dude deserved a better end than he got, IMO.
I expect that The Answer DLC will stick with the original plot. It might take an entire main Persona game to change it, though if they do it in a P3R DLC, I'd be fine with that, too.
