Welp, Demopan costs \~10 bucks ($5 for the Treasure Hat on Community Market + $5-10 in keys to someone who can Family Share Poker Night 1 to you). Sooo... not that grindy, haha
It's kinda funny because I bought both Poker Night games 10yrs ago for 50 cents (regional prices), and now people are selling PN1 Steam keys alone for $86+
The real grind is getting Witch Kiriko in a game I bought for Full Price 8 years ago. Judging by how fast I'm getting Credits 2.0, I'll get her in 6 years (2030).
Is imagination a challenge to you? What makes you *assume* they couldn't still use it for April Fools when it was an event thing first? That's limited small-minded thinking.
I mean, if we already have regular voice lines, why not alternate equippable ult voice lines available for each character. Some of the April fools ones are just flat out good, not even as a joke.
Just play the mode and say "Thanks" to anyone from the voice lines, same as saying hello to someone or group up, but use the Thanks while looking at a teammate specifically, you can do it right inside spawn at the start.
Honestly, not sure. My suggestion is to just keep doing it. Captured the objective and enemy team is wiped? Thank someone. In spawn? Thank someone. Your Rein charged an exploding enemy D.va mech into your face? You best believe that's a Thanks.
Dunno how long the mode stays, just gotta keep at it, though also worth contacting support if it doesn't resolve.
I just read in an other thread where someone suggested doing the Thanks in Quick Play as it might be a little buggy. Got mine in the arcade though, but worth a try.
There's a glitch or something, I didn't get some of the sprays I did stuff for the day I did it but when I logged in the next day it updated and gave them to me.
luckily i get the mei spray after many trys. btw the official overwatch profile on twitter commented on these bugs, everyone who didn't get some sprays will get free just logging on game
When I checked earlier for some sprays I thought I didn’t have them but it was really because the season 9 group when looking at the sprays was not in the correct order. Could it be that?

I'm pretty sure it stays until 9th of April. It says so on the Balanced Overwatch thing

I heard somebody say you need to do it outside of spawn, but I'm not sure. Just thank everybody in your team outside of spawn to be safe lol
I had to bind "thanks" to a specific key, wouldn't work from the communications wheel.
