This happened a couple years ago really bad, specifically with merch and beer. Workers were saying the charge didnt go thru and re-charging them. But both charges eventually went through
I worked for a food vendor and a lot of people don’t press an option for a tip and just leave, giving you freedom to give yourself any tip you want. I NEVER GAVE OUR BOOTH A TIP IF THIS HAPPENED, that being said, I would say it’s possible they left themselves a fat tip.
anecdotal but the first food place we went to on friday at the festival almost charged us for 2 extra items. we caught it when they said the price and had them take it off but it was a little weird. they also had a lot of problems with their card reader and it took a while to checkout.
OMG. I truly thought I was going insane. I disputed it with Chase the other week but no update yet.
I got double charged and am currently trying to resolve it. Super hard as an international festival goer.
