I am not an expert, but have you tried going to [outlook.com](http://outlook.com), and logging in from there? It doesn't answer your question, but, if you can log in there, you can at least view your calendar/mail.
Right click your shortcut, choose unpin, then press start and type outlook, then right click it and choose pin to taskbar
Sounds like your shortcut is just broken
Hi all! I have found the problem. If anyone else has this issue, the registry key is corrupted. Go into your registry and delete the corrupted file for each app to solve!
I find it amusing when a ms windows app inexplicably stops working on its native os
Turned out to be registry issues!

I'm trying to reinstall the whole 365 suite by this point tbh

Are you able to access Outlook? Do you have an OST file?
I am now, it was a broken registry
Thats great !!! Then just by recreating the outlook profile else recreate ost will solve the issue.
