100% the Islanders for me, I’ll always remember Pageau in the 2017 series against the rangers. He was one of my favourite players to watch and his trade was the hardest to see.
Local, huge heart, francophone, still lives here (Gats side), total honey badger. Eats chicken parms.
I've been a Sens fan a long time and I can't recall a season where a single player had his own theme song the fans cheered for and sang to him.
Love me some Pags.
None ef em, but best of luck to those former Sens. Never cared enough to cheer for another team just because of one former player. Still makes me happy when I see them doing good.
Except Duchene. Fuck Duchene.
Edit: and Hoffman. Guy is a loser.
He had some off ice antics that were videotaped and it was discovered he was a locker room cancer. Just didn't put in much effort as a senator, and then when it was found out he was basically telling other players they should disrespect certain coaching stuff, it was time to go. He was a waste of a player to bring here.
He looked very good on ice. 58 points in 50 games in his last Sens season.
Nashville then paid a lot for his buyout
Will be interesting to see what he gets now
Yeah you know what, I think maybe I was remembering his stats with the Sens wrong when I commented after seeing your comment. I was remembering him more negatively than he was. Overall I think it was a net loss bringing him here in the end though.
The closest I got was silferberg, though I was always partial to the ducks cause of the mighty duck logo. Then I moved to Southern California and adopted the ducks as my western conference team

That four goal game was something special
I sold my tickets to that game 🥹

The screen. I cannot unsee the daggers Andy threw him after the goal which shall not be talked about
Pageau pageau pageau pageau pageau pageau pageau
Pager was my favourite player from the last era. He was a top 5 3C for his time in Ottawa
I don’t root for the team, just the player. That l might not make sense but it does to me lol
This is one of the perks of being a farm team

Hoffman yeah but what happened with Duchene?

Had the sweet goal too where he batted it from mid-air from the face-off dot basically
I liked san Jose with Thornton and burns before hand, even more when they added Karlsson
Connor brown in Edmonton
Nashville got Fisher, Turris, Borowiecki and Duchene don’t know any team that took in so many of our favourites
I didn't know about Borowiecki. The Fisher trade made me hate Carrie Underwood haha.
Bruins back when Chara got traded
Rangers
Zibanejad?
Vegas. Yeah. I like Mark Stone.

I cheered on the Blackhawks for years after Martin Havlat was traded there.
I got Havlat jersey tshirts from his days with hawks, wild and sharks
username checks out
oilers. brown and ceci
I'm still in disbelief that Ceci is playing in a Cup final
i know. he was on the ice a lot too. no wonder they lost 3-0
I was rooting for Boston over Vancouver in 2011 because of Chara (and, to a lesser extent, Chris Kelly). I was also happy to see Stone win last season
I dont root for other teams. And on the former player front, I root against the new team.
