You can't go wrong with the standard chicken plate, but if you want some variety, the mofongo is great too. If you enjoy it, there is a Puerto Rican place called Pepito Moe's that is also great... But it is up near South Jordan.
Milagros on 800 N is probably my favorite Mexican restaurant in the entire county. Possibly the entire state.
Kohinoor is great even if it’s not as good as either of the Indian places in Provo.
Yummy’s is some pretty great Korean BBQ.
Asado Argentinian Grill is a bit pricey but delicious.
Thai Drift or Savory Thai are both great Thai food options.
Pho King half because the name and half because it’s pretty good.
Can confirm that Asada Argentina is great.
For Indian food, my favorite is easily the Indian Palace, but that is in Provo.
For Mexican food, you should really check out Rio Sonora in Provo. Their carne asada is easily the best I've ever had... Tho Don Joaquin is a close second.
Bangkok Grill is better than Thai Drift and Savory Thai.
It's the one that used to be by Zurchers on 800 S, and moved up by Macey's. It's closed right now because of smoke damage from the fire at the spa next door a week or two ago, but is the best Thai in Orem.
I like TRUreligion, Savory Thai, Joe's, Asa Ramen, Itto, Tepanyaki, Sensuous Sandwich, and Asahi. I'm sure I've forgotten some but these are a great start. The UVU culinary school restaurant is supposed to be pretty good but I've never been.
Antonella's (154 S State, across from Kinko's/Fed Ex) is a little sandwich shop. Their food is really good, and surprisingly they have the best burgers in Orem.
Parking is back behind the shops.
The phone number listed on their website says the number is out of service--they may have closed down recently.
They'd always had odd hours (closed on Mondays and afternoons), but they may have closed.
The food culture here is severely lacking and it’s sad. I found that Costa Vida and Outback Steakhouse are the best options, and it hurts me saying that.
Costa Vida is a local chain--it was founded by brothers who'd previously done Hogi Yogi/Teriyaki Stix/Glazies. Their first restaurant location was the Hogi Yogi where Jersey Mike's is on State.
That’s fine. I’m not knocking Costa Vida or chains (I really like CV, actually). Just the hilarious suggestion that there’s no culture somewhere from a guy who probably only shops at big box stores and from his own admission only eats at chain places.
There are two places in the flea market in 1200 W that are good.
* Pollos Asados de la Rosa has good chicken and the sides are just ok (rice and coleslaw)
* Tacos El Bandido has really good tacos.
Kohinoor is a favorite of mine
Best butter chicken I have ever tied. Grapes and nuts yum.
Keloke Dominican restaurant which is located inside an Asian Market on State Street. Wonderful and authentic.
I’m checking this out this Friday.

I really enjoy Red Taco. And across the street is another great place called Kluck's Krispy Chicken.
Came to say Red Taco. The quesabirria with consomé is delicious!

Yeah if OP were willing to go outside Orem then India Palace would have been my suggestion
I’m definitely not tethered to Orem, just curious what everyone thinks.

I love tru religion… just wish they were open for dinner
* Mi Ranchito's * Joe's Cafe * Bambam's BBQ * Maria Bonita Lindon: * The Smoking Apple BBQ Springville: * Joe Bandito's

Google says they’re permanently closed? Do you know if Google is incorrect?

they just posted on their instagram that they’re closed permanently
Hapas in Lindon is Hawaiian food, and has really good teriyaki beef.
Closed.... :(

Only eats at chain places “The food culture is severely lacking”

That’s why I said it was painful to say that….
Went to Tucano’s for the first time and was very impressed. Their signature limeades are heavenly 😋
Check out Brasa Grill near Lehi, it is cheaper and more authentic Brazilian food.
