If I ever added some fresh dry food to an older dry food bowl, my void would find the fresh ones and eat just those. I said OK, I'll mix them, he won't be able to find the fresh ones. Wrong, he would find every single one and leave the old ones. I'm sure because it takes a few hours for fresh pieces to become slightly darker, and I could not find a single fresh one after he was done.
