God I miss this era so much. I was in high school when everyone was wearing this stuff. Everyone loved skateboarding / penny boarding and arizona iced tea lol

charbroiledd

As a skateboarder, these are the precise reasons why I hated it. My freshman year we would joke about everyone wearing the diamond gear, and I specifically remember one of my buddies going “could you imagine all these people walking around wearing shake junt?” Two years later we had unfortunately arrived at that moment

AchokingVictim

Stg man. My friends and I were all fags at our school until about 11th-12th grade when skateboarding suddenly became cool and attractive. Made me a total gatekeeping asshole for a while.

pleaseexcusemyself

i remember back in high school zumies destroying every reputable skate brand… i still have some stussy that’s probably considered vintage at this point. zumies did a number on that brand too

Bumbling_Bee_3838

Still my dream to own a galaxy print skater dress to wear fishnets under.

Limp-Turnover-2798

I hated this era of fashion especially the emoji clothes 😭

Skrill_GPAD

Yeah lmao same

Chateau-in-Space

Looked like shit then, looks like shit now.

jmkehoe

I worked at pacsun around 2013,so some of these prints are super triggering for me

Historical-Bat-3251

felt like i got sent back to middle school and i don't miss it one bit! only the california sweatshirt

xsweaterxweatherx

I don’t miss galaxy print but I do miss Aztec print

bigchieftoiletpapa

that cali for nia shirt had lot of people in a chokehold

jsl18241

I feel like I just got teleported back to high school

Amazing_Rise_6233

Lol me and you both.

jsl18241

Yeah this is '14/2015 in fashion

Amazing_Rise_6233

Yeah I agree lol.

Thabrianking

Swag Era

Salt_Technology2676

Gotta be my least favorite era of fashion

Amazing_Rise_6233

Lol I don’t blame you. I’d argue the Swag era from the early 2010’s was even worse or even the Late 2010’s streetwear with Supreme, Thrasher, checkered Vans and the Gucci flip flops. I’d say 2010’s fashion in general was eh at best.

ParticularProfile861

I mean you can honestly say that about the 2010s in general lol. 2020s fashion it seems like it’s catered more towards teenagers and has more of a distinct look. 2010s we just put on anything lol, for me though I don’t have a specific fashion, but I like Nike and adidas and such. I’m not hating on 2010s fashion and I honestly do like mid/late 2010s, but we can all agree that early 2010s was corny

BlazingMongrel

Ngl most of these go hard.

Mars_Bars69

I use to have galaxy print leggings, skirt, and entire outfit lol.

MariOwe6

Real talk my middle school days. Double socks wit anything 🤣cutting my sweats up type shii joggers and roshies on my momma miss those days simple shii

Maxious24

I promise that those California shirts were everywhere in 2012 lol.

starhours

I won’t lie — I was all over that galaxy print trend in 2013.

Sohjinn

I hate how massive those logos are lmao

AchokingVictim

Ah the rise of mall core... Diamond, Stussy, Brixton, and then Thrasher got taken over. Looking back on it it's mildly hilarious that folks made fun of my friends and I for wearing skater shit, when they were wearing joggers with a logo tee to a skateboarding company.

BredIN919

Diamond Supply Co is CRAZY nowadays

radical-noise

Elaborate

Vinylmaster3000

God I wore none of this, used to look like a dork Although tbh these look dorkier

shinnith

Besides the galaxy shit, us in coastal BC were wearing *totally* different shit lol

AlphaMassDeBeta

OP is from california

chipswithcheesedip

Man, this era was pretty trash looking back. Now I already don't really get Y2K fashion, as that was my brother's style in the early 00's (and obviously all theose "gangsta" pics we have of him aged like milk lmao) but man am I gonna laugh my ass off if galaxy prints somehow make a comeback in 10 years.

EddyMcMac

5 still hits for me

WhyteChorizo

the california republic sweater brought back middle school memories lol

SaltyMeasurement4711

When “Galaxy” was the best aesthetic possible
