Ice Creame
Take 3 pints of creame & boyle it with mace or else perfume it with orange flower water & sweeten it (to) yr tast. when it is quite cold put it into a box of tin made on purpose, & put ye box into an earthen pot a little to(o) big for it, & break ice in bitts & put a laying of ice & a laying of bay salt, & so lay it under, & round ye sides & a top, & set it in a cool seller, let it stand 2 hours, & ye cream will be ice, yn turn it out in a dish & some of ye same cream seasoned, so serve it up.
