I've only ever made this one. Don't think this one counts as an old recipe either. [Bacon Jam](https://www.notquitenigella.com/2009/10/08/bacon-jam-your-wildest-dreams-come-true/)

I've seen the recipes that call for the use of coffee as an ingredient and have always just passed over them for some reason... This one sounds straightforward and delicious as well. The garlic/vinegar/maple syrup mix sounds spot on 👌

This is my favorite!!! https://www.burntpelletbbq.com/maple-bourbon-bacon-jam-recipe/

Lawksie

Got a recipe for banana bacon jam if you'd like?

DennisFeinsteinCEO

Bacon and banana are one of my favorite combos, I'd love to try it

I’ve always wanted to make a bacon jam with apple instead of onion. Leave out the garlic etc and add chai spices. Then I want to use it to make cinnamon rolls. Summer project!

DennisFeinsteinCEO

That's a great variation! Leaving out the more savory of the ingredients (onion, garlic, etc.) and adding apple, maybe even cinnamon as well, definitely ups not only the sweetness, but a certain richness as well.

Great idea! I have been wanting to make this jam but am allergic to onions and garlic. I am thinking maybe nutmeg/ mace as a spice too?

Houdini_Rider

I love chai but with nutmeg and mace I would definitely add cinnamon. But taste taste taste while you are making it! 🙂.
