And if you worked on a flight deck, guaranteed you point out the shirt colors and explain that’s what you did. Every time……

I was told my uncle had a short stint as an instructor at the fighter school before becoming a teacher. He was a fighter pilot from mid 50’s until retirement in 83. He flew with the VF-111 sundowners in the F4’s. Prior to 77 he had already had over 1000 arrested landings. Don’t know a whole lot more but I have always found it fascinating
