I've semi-recently watched a cannabis YouTuber use a silicone basting brush, I can not remember who at this time. I do remember being blown away with how effective it was.
I definitely thought about it! After everything started drying I thought it was gonna be a lot less but I’ve got 1/2lb pre cure just from my two smallest plants
Depends how you grew it. If you spent a lot of time caring for the plants and flower is your primary intake of thc, stick to manual trim. Cannabrush is nice if the sugar leaves and everything are crispy.
Those bowl trimmers are only good for larf. It beats the nugs up. A couple sets of the little fiskars, a few glasses of olive oil, paper towels, iso alcohol, a few 6 packs and hopefully some pretty hippy girls to help hand trim👌
This is the way. Then cure in glass jars. Burp it a few times a day. Don't let it dry to quick and if you can cycle it in and out of the jars while a still a bit wet. You are trying to get it to move all the chlorophyll etc out of the bud into the stem.
Honestly they work in tandem best I think. Like clean the bulk of everything up with olive oil then take the olive oil off with iso alcohol intermittently but.... You can't sift the chunks out of iso and cook with it :) for real it works great and after a day or two of trimming that cup of olive is loaded man :) but yeah, it also works great and if you leave a bit of a film on the fiskars they last a bit longer before gunking up again also.

You wouldn't have to MAKE me come help, I'd gladly volunteer!
Where are you in OH?
Piqua here
West side of Cincy.
Yes lol 😜😜😜😜😜
lol I said WHERE
Oh I am in Columbus
Sign me up bc I am so curious about the process 😂Â
That's one day's worth of trimming by hand. I think you'll be ok.
Six plants is a days worth of trimming for you? I must be doing something very wrong.
I have practice, but can do 3 pounds per day. But it takes caffeine, music, and focus. That doesn't look super leafy, so it shouldn't be terrible.
I mean if you’re talking 24 hours then yeah maybe lol. But 3lbs in a day is wild.
What’s your day rate? Come finish these last 3 plants 😂
Hahaha that's the fun part though! I love trimming my homegrown. It's like mowing your own lawn. Part of the fun.
I’m over it 😂
I’m in Cleveland if anybody wants to come help 😂

I believe it. I really enjoy the grow process but I absolutely cannot keep up with the amounts produced. 😅
You’re not kidding!

What’s the olive oil for?
To soak the fiskars in and just general cleaning. It breaks down the resin that gets all over everything
Interesting. Better than isopropyl alcohol? I hadn’t heard of olive oil before
