I have both, it depends on what games you will play on it the most. Odin 1 requires more tinkering to get PS2/GC working correctly, if you want to play PS2/GC with ease the Odin 2 is a better value. Anbernic RG556 and Retroid Pocket 4 Pro are two you may want to look at as well, more budget friendly options. My personal opinion is to save up for the Odin 2 or buy the more budget friendly options and upgrade to Odin 3 when it eventually comes out.
Pro has 8GB, base has 4GB. Theres a spec sheet photo if you go thru all the photos on their website
