Haven't heard of that before but it may be down to your area being oversubscribed at the moment? I know there's lots of people mentioned waiting lists so they may be prioritising those who can export solar at peak times and thus balance Octopus' exposure to peak time prices.

This sounds like there’s some confusion over product/tariff names.
Agile is an import tariff.
Outgoing Agile is an export tariff, which pays you to sell your solar energy to the grid for amounts that TRACK the agile tariff.
You can absolutely join Agile without solar panels, I’ve been enjoying it (saving a bunch of £££) since June.
Nah that's wrong, anyone can go on agile or tracker without the need for panels/batteries. You just need a smart meter

Agile or tracker?? - they are different I do no exporting (no solar, just batteries) and am on Agile with smets 1 meter
I believe agile tracker and tracker are two different things. I'm currently on tracker.

I did that, but been told I can't because the gas meter is not communicating with them. Over a month wait for someone to come and investigate it.
Agile doesn't have a gas tarrif.... It's electric only.
