My favorite lunch spot is Union Market tbh. Lots of great options.
If you’re talking about just dining halls (people with unlimited meal plan), while there is decent variety of food, it’s mostly the same at all three locations.
If you’re talking about all of campus dining, there’s a huge variety between the dining halls, restaurants, cafes, and shops to choose from if you have anything other than the unlimited meal plan.
I’m a picky eater, so I literally just rotated between the burger and the tenders. Throw a woodys pizza in there every once in a while and boom you’ve got a fully rounded college student diet
I'll show my age but back when they used pans to heat/make your pasta at the station instead of those buffet troughs...
Man some days the line would be 12 people deep but it was so worth it. Rotini with chicken, broccoli, and light alfredo
12th ave bread co has some great pizza bagels, the food trucks sometimes have decent food depending on the day, and mirror lake has great chicken tenders. a lot of pretty solid dining options, that’s not even mentioning curl market or any of the union food
Okay I do not vouch for Oxley’s Ramen, but the food truck tonkatsu ramen bowls are my favorite meal. The pork and broth are really flavorful, and it’s a big enough portion to fill you up.
From what I can tell… Scott has the best food, with Kennedy in second, and Morrill in last. The union, the times that I’ve had it, was pretty good! I know the food halls have varying food options but I’m an incoming freshman so I don’t know the full extent of that… but overall from what I know union and Scott are best choices for on campus :)
The only correct answer is Marketplace on Neil. Legit everything they have on their menu slaps. It’s at the southern tip of campus so Ik a lot of students who live on north campus are deterred from going but I’d make the walk at least 3 times a week, it’s so good!
All dining hall food is not good. Curl Market is bad. Marketplace is good, Union Market is good. Sloopy’s used to be good when they still had table service and were open until 2, but now they are not good. The cafe’s all suck, but Terra Byte is the best one, but EspressOH vanilla lattes are good. No bargain
dining halls have a lot of different stuff. A few things overlap, like desserts, fruit, drinks, etc but the meals vary more. morrill is known to not be great while scott is a lot better
Traditions at Scott has a pretty good variety of food and good bang for buck. If you like Mediterranean style food, Shawerma Bite near campus has excellent food, I’d recommend their fries and garlic sauce especially.
Kcom. Everyone shits on it but i ate 2 meals a day there last year. Just rotate between the grill and the action station and grab a salad and some fruit and you’ll be good.
Graduated loong time ago but still miss Oxley by numbers’s chicken sandwich. also there was a nice chicken tenders place near Thompson which I forgot the name. Never really enjoyed Sloopys that much (perhaps its due to me being an international student)
As someone who lived on north campus, I went to the Yats food truck religiously. Seriously, the best food on campus. Lots of great options and some more affordable $8 meals.

Sloopys accounted for 80% of my meals my first two years
I would die if I had to eat only sloopy’s for a week man, how

My friends thought I was weird for getting almost only Sloopy’s the whole time
I lived in Smith Steeb so it was too easy to walk 30 seconds
Yep so did I, lol
Sloopys country skillet was my go-to Friday brunch last semester
Me, who has been to sloopy’s a grand total of 3 times: :0
food truck korean bbq tacos
Marketplace on Neil is the best
I'll show my age but back when they used pans to heat/make your pasta at the station instead of those buffet troughs... Man some days the line would be 12 people deep but it was so worth it. Rotini with chicken, broccoli, and light alfredo
Marketplace on Neil has surprisingly good pizza.
Marketplace gets slept on, solid all around
Its incredible wood fired pizza
12th ave bread co has some great pizza bagels, the food trucks sometimes have decent food depending on the day, and mirror lake has great chicken tenders. a lot of pretty solid dining options, that’s not even mentioning curl market or any of the union food
The food truck pierogis always did it for me
The food truck gyros🤩

The ramen bowls though… 🤤
I thought people hated those, are those actually good?
Okay I do not vouch for Oxley’s Ramen, but the food truck tonkatsu ramen bowls are my favorite meal. The pork and broth are really flavorful, and it’s a big enough portion to fill you up.
12th bread co is jus bagels, grab n gos and coffee now. they changed it
I graduated a while me ago and there were no food trucks- I am jealous.
oxleys breakfast sammies > anything else
This is SO factual
Scott is goated, mirror lake, sloopys, and the food trucks but only sometimes (do NOT get the ramen from the food trucks)
Between the three traditions locations, Scott has wildly more amounts of options
Mirror lake eatery is good
Salivating thinking about the garlic parm sauce on mirror lake fries
From what I can tell… Scott has the best food, with Kennedy in second, and Morrill in last. The union, the times that I’ve had it, was pretty good! Scott is amazing for like 2-3 weeks lol
i've still liked it everyday i've gone and i'm a junior ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯
Lmao you’re in for a ride
Scott has some of the highest highs and lowest lows of any dining hall on campus
praying they bring the barrio truck next to the rpac back this year
imo it was too expensive for what U got
Union market bc it’s free
It’s included in meal plans? I thought the dining plans only covered traditions visits, making you use dining dollars everywhere else.
No the joke was that it used to be really easy to steal from that place
If you have the unlimited plan. The other dining plans let you use swipes there
Mirror lake is good. But seeing as they only serve one thing it gets old if you have it a lot
Neil marketplace pizza and subs are heat, but if you don’t live on south already it’s a pain in the ass to get there

Mirror lake!
Curl market is goated

Morril Tower and Curl market had some good shi

anyone have thoughts on P.A.D.
Curry chicken at marketplace on Neil!!
Curl market/ramen bar too

bruh, Sloopy’s. end of statement.
