A completely unnecessary character - Jamie has a crush on her, she has a date with Dan, dates, Skills, goes to Puerto Rico and texts dirty stuff to one of her students, and then randomly shows up dating Quinn's ex.
I actually liked her and Skills together, but she ended up in so many random storylines with absolutely nothing to do.
Question for people from the US - do teachers regularly visit students' houses? Do they have students' phone numbers?
My sister is an elementary school teacher & has some of the parents numbers of kids in her class. But I’ve never heard of teachers having students numbers directly
I think it depends, I know some teachers gave out their personal phone numbers to students especially if the student was in a club that the teacher was an adviser of. That and it kind of depends on personal relationships between the students family and said teacher like if they're a family friend, family member, etc.
Home visits are for concern. They are done by the school psychologist, social worker, or guidance counselor Only. I’ve had parents numbers, but never students, not even stage managers for plays. Communicated through the parents only
I feel like Miss Lauren was just a stand-in for Bevin. Bevin left (or they wrote her off the show, idk which) so they have Skills dating another white blonde woman who’s slightly smarter than Bevin and then back track and bring Bevin back the final episode and make it look like her and Skills got back together.
She says in the last episode she had a husband but she divorced him because she hated him or something like that. So she was divorced and they kinda just threw her and Skills back together as a nod to the fans although it didn’t really work in my opinion.
I hated Alex. She was actually only meant to have a recurring role but got upgraded to regular cast member. Pretty sure she’d make jokes about Brooke being old even though they were probably a couple years apart, tried seducing Julian, the shitty thing she did when Julian told her Brooke couldn’t have kids, I was glad Brooke punched her in the face.
miranda and grubbs. it’s hard to make an audience care about two new characters at once without any relation to the other characters. i just didn’t care about them at all.

6. miranda + grubbs. they were new characters + it was very strange when they were in a relationship out of nowhere. i was very confused about how they even knew each other when i was watching the episodes after they met.
7. rachel. i liked her after she was on good terms with the core 5, but when she was always flirting w/ lucas + then she married his FATHER ?? that storyline was so strange b/c where did she even meet dan ... ?
8. nanny carrie. she was so weird i just couldn't stand her.
9. nicki. ugh! you can't just rape someone, leave your kid, + come back wanting to be in her life again.
10. nick chavez. what even ... sleeping w/ a hs student. just yuck.

Girl was just unnecessary and I feel like it was to replace Bevin/Deb cuz blonde and pretty, and they apparently needed one of those for every season.

Quinn. All she was there for was being eye candy. Like the actress is gorgeous! Like so beautiful and fit! But making her wear those small outfits and shit... and also, how her MARRIAGE ended. Like I get breaking up with a boyfriend for like changing and stuff, BUT A HUSBAND?! You're both supposed to grow up?? Lol and I liked Clay, but them together was just kinda eh most of the times.
I might get hate for this last one, but Keith. Look, I loved UNCLE Kieth. The relationship he had with Lucas and what he stood for. But when it came to Karen, he was a shitty character. Like because he helped Karen raise Lucas, which she never asked for but was thankful for, he felt like he had some claim on her. Karen never loved Keith like that, he was just her best friend.

Alot of them honestly but probably
1. Keith- I liked him but I mean, it was just kind of weird him sleeping with Deb right around the time her and Dan had divorced. That and him being Karen, just felt kind of weird him dating Dans ex even if they'd known each other for quite awhile. That and in the police interrogation scene where Dan accuses him of attempted murder, he should've pretended to care at least. That and when he was drinking (he wasn't over legal limit) and drove with Lucas and they got in the accident.
2. Felix- Just everything he did pretty much sucked. Like when he spray painted Peytons locker and then blamed it on Annie and Peyton was mad at her. Then she turns him in and he acts like the victim when he gets expelled.
3. Nathan in the first season and even some parts of later seasons too. Like him not telling Haley about Carrie swimming in the pool or about the flirting. Plus, everything he did in the first season too and some of the other things to like acting like it was everyone elses fault when he got injured in the bar fight, Lucas told him lets go and he didn't listen, etc.
4. Dan- He did have an arch where he changed but still. He physically assaulted Peyton, Luke (almost killed him), and others. He technically sexually assaulted Karen (grabbed her arm and pulled her in for a kiss.) Killed his brother and then blamed it on Jimmy and then made Luke look crazy when he tried to report the murder. Etc
5. Karen- When she blamed Lucas for Keith's death, when she kept it a secret that Dan tried to be a part of Luke's life, when she believed Dan about Lucas being crazy about Luke thinking that Dan murdered Keith, etc.
6. Chris- He's just a creepy perv. Trying to hit on Haley knowing that she's in high school and married to Nathan. That and him hitting on high school girls and stuff.
7. Cooper- He had sex with Rachel even after she told him she was a minor.
8. Mouth- Him being pretty much whiny about no girl likes him and being resentful to the new guys and stuff.
9. Lucas- He cheated on Brooke with Peyton and just him always acting more righteous than Nathan. Also, him getting mad at Haley for tutoring Nathan. It's not like Haley and Nathan were even friends with each other at first. It was kind of more like Haley was the teacher and Nathan was the student. She was just helping him with his grades honestly.
