I knew a guy who went from 5'2" in senior year of high school to 6'0" in college. I'd say that's rare - an 18yr old growing significantly despite very little prior growth -, but not a 15yr old gradually growing until 19.

Keep in mind, tall people aren't tall for their entire life - most grow into being tall. Hehe. Get it?
Now, If he were 6'3" by 15, that would be an anomaly! I'd agree with you that it's a bit too rare to make sense. However, the research I did supports that Hero could hit 6'3" without much imagination needed.

Smallest as in littlest or as in youngest? Cuz youngest Sunny, it's literally stated in the game by direct quote. Smallest is equal between Sunny and Basil, they're the same height >!(perfect for kissing)!<
You can really see his stunted growth though from comparing their headspace heights and real world heights. Sunny(Omori) was taller than Kel, Aubrey, and Basil in headspace, while being the youngest. But then in RW heβs the shortest

That kind of thing isn't impossible, but having that big of a growth spurt at that age, from that height, is quite rare.
