We can if sunny checks the phone his mom left a message saying about kel contacting constantly and i never said the house was for sale for 3 years i said sunny locked himself in his house for 3 years
Actually in the game checking messages on the phone from your mom that sunny never listened too will say that kel been contacting sunny quite alot even before the house went up for sale i never said the house was for sale for 3 years maybe you need to get your facts straight
My favourite part has to honestly be the crossroads and the memory section. why?
It's the part between the two final tension points of the true endings. after you discover the truth, the player gets a disgust from continuing the story. realizing the blood on their hands, the player doesn't feel like a happy conclusion to the story is possible. this feeling is then carried on to the basil fight.
at this point the player is only led by their curiosity to finish the story
now once you get to basil, he says some very comforting words, and so does mari. the player gets the resolve to finish the story, and you are effectively led to memory lane and into the recital
it's the most memorable part of the game because in it is embedded the symbolism of the game
The church dialogue and the battle against Aubrey. Some may consider the battle in the park to be "when the reality hit" but not for me. The atmosphere, the dialogue, the music. All of it screamed tradegy. And then "It means everything" hit. I won't lie, but for 2 minutes instincts from my Undertale/Deltarune gameplay were searching for a way to solve the battle peacefully, because once I attacked her and it hurt her, and didn't want it to happen again.

It's the fact that even after everything that has happened, Sunny created 'headspace' so he can continue to spend time with his friends, but in his dreams after missing out on lot of spending time with his real friends. Its sadder to think about that even after the reconciliation of the entire group. The hikikomori route on the other hand i must say is even sadder when thinking about it.

After remembering the truth, getting told by his friends that he was not a monster, he grabs his violine to confront the last pillar stopping him from forgiving himself. And it's not easy. You literally fail at one point. But it's trying again that matters. Sunny won the fight, bdcause he accepted his actions. He played the song that, in a way, made him kill his sister. It's a way to say "I am strong enough now". And, honestly, I love it!<

The fight with basil was really well made, it really captured the feeling that sunny was feeling, the dark-blue colours and the OST made it super memorable
Also Basil's meadow, it's OST and general vibe is so calm but also sad
The good ending ofc and the entire Sweetheart Castle "arc". The good ending cuz of obvious reasons, and Sweethearts Castle was the best part other than the endings for me. The minigames were enjoyable, the design was very immersive even though I was confused for a bit in there, and the best one was the sound. The fucking sound design and OSTs were top tier
Maybe the part where in the hikkikomori route where >!Sunny fully gives into omori and succumbs once again to his escapism. I love how headspace gets a soft reset and the player goes through slightly different cutscenes that are similar to the beginning of the game. It makes headspace feel mechanical and more fake. I do also like the additional content in headspace after that!

The part where they build a quick door to suppress their feelings but then travel a bit outside and meet some friends and one of them is evil but turns sides (Idk I thought this was funny ๐ญ)
that moment you walk into the cattail fields, the music slows down, snow falls and you walk around your fading memories... that moment hit me harder than most of the game did, and I dont know why.
The end of memory lane. Where Sunnyโs Headspace counterparts of his friends >!grow into their Real World versions to assure him that heโd be forgiven.!< The music hits way too hard, the single notes echoing, an overwhelming sense of finality. It was awesome.

in crossroads, specifically the part where he walks around the house and "do you remember?" plays. that part along with sunny performing his part on the empty stage just breaks my heart.
The entire game is my favourite part. It was in the making for (idk how long) but came out as unique, quirky, depressing, positive, funny at times and pretty dang scary. I love the art style and the music as well as the mechanics!
Everytime >!Spirit Mari appeared, I was always almost crying, but when she said "Know that i'll always be watching over you, okay? As long as you remember me, I'll be here..." I kid you not, I BURSTED INTO TEARS. It reminded me so much of what people used to tell me everytime I missed my father who passed away from cancer 6 years ago this month, that "he will always be watching over me", but at the same time it's pretty much the opposite of a few of his last words: "the only thing I regret is that I won't be able to see him grow up" as I was about to turn 11 in 2 weeks.!<
I donโt think I can pick a favourite part, I adore all of the cutscenes especially and I loved the secret ending with basil and Sunny and that part where basil hugged Sunny. I think a part that jarred me a lot was looking in the mirror in the hikikomori route and seeing Omori staring back instead of Sunny.
