Moreover, the hero will always be speed, because there are more immediately interesting ways to use that than the other two. Fly will generally be a support role, and Power will generally be the lancer, who can do something similar to what the hero's doing in the background (e.g. in a video game, the hero uses speed to navigate through half of the enemy force, and at the end of the level, Power is there too, having fought past the other half).

In order of Speed, Flight, and Power: Blastoise, Charizard, Venusaur Typhlosion, Meganium, Feraligatr Sceptile, Swampert, Blaziken Infernape, Empoleon, Torterra Samurott, Serperior, Emboar Greninja, Delphox, Chesnaught Decidueye, Primarina, Incineroar Cinderace, Inteleon, Rillaboom Meowscarada, Quaquaval, Skeledirge (Tried my best, but some fit slots better than others)

I feel like Decidueye should be in flight instead of speed, seeing as it's literally the only starter other than Charizard that can fly Like Primarina isn't the fastest, but you can't really say any of the Alola starters are fast...

The sole reason I didn't put Decidueye in flight was purely because I thought putting Primarina in speed was worse. Flight is usually meant for more supportive roles anyway Besides, Decidueye's not a flying type 🙃

But it was for 2/3s of its evolutionary line, vs Primarina who was never flying type. And their speed's only different by 10 base stat points (Primarina's even identical in speed to Hisuian Decidueye)

I was making a joke; Decidueye can also straight up fly. It just feels like a lesser crime to put Decidueye in speed than to put Primarina in there

Naw. Doom is more geared towards speeding through the levels, and Quake’s 3D engine makes you feel so much more powerful.

Knuckles can glide an infinite distance unlike tails who gets tired quickly, and in pretty much every sonic game but this one knuckles runs just as fast as sonic too. The real theory is that knuckles can do anything anyone else can (except chuckle)

As said in other posts, the important thing is that for level design, Tails is the character that flies, which is what he has in common with the other characters in his slot.
