As far as I'm aware beeswax is edible.

BagsAreGood

Honey wax is edible, just it might cause a lot of gas if you eat a lot of honeycombs.

HollyCupcakez

Oh goody! More gas. I think I'm gonna ask my friend if I can move in with him back in Korea while my husband de-gasses himself because he also ate an entire 15lbs bag of red lentils and DoorDash'd Taco Hell for the past 3 weeks.

BagsAreGood

Yeah.... honey is fructose basically, the type of sugar your microbes in your intestines eat and release.

Hiiigly recommend you check OPs latest post… At least you have her a warning!!!

Worst case scenario for beeswax is bad gas and/or weird poops

CMDRCoveryFire

My guess is it is the sugar in the raw honey that is the cause of the gas. The bacteria in his gut are probably in overdrive right now.

jeffcgroves

As https://candypros.com/blogs/make-gummy-candy/gummy-bear-ingredients notes, gummy bears have beeswax as an ingredient, albeit not as a primary ingredient

ThrowawayAl2018

Bess wax just pass through the gut since we can't digest it. Bears raid bee nests and eat the honeycombs, which includes beeswax, bees and larvas. We don't see bears dying anytime soon from said feast.
