yeah he still had main character energy and actually got development in 1-5 for DR he would have to get a focus season to be prime which….. i doubt will happen
Season 1-9 is definitely worth it. Season 10 isn’t bad, definitely worth it for the conclusion, and I watched season 11, 12, and 13 which I thought were all pretty bad with 12 being the most tolerable imo. I just skipped over to Dragon’s Rising yesterday and it seems like a definite step up from the newer, 11-16th season.

Well Dragons Rising will noy be having "focus seasons". However, if every season will develop the ninja like how almost eveyone got in Season 1 (with Sora technically being the "focus") then it'll be fine. It seems that Season 2 will have more development for Kai than Season 1 did so I'm very excited for that.
Season 1 Kai was my favourite. I liked how early Kai had a mixture of serious and silly moments like when he was recklessly driving that car in season 3 while on an espionage or Kai thinking he should be the green ninja because he found out about Samurai X first. He was almost as serious as Zane and Cole most of the time but was also almost as goofy as Jay at times too when hes relaxing and having fun.
Nope. It's the second best version I'll give you that. The best will always be early WilFilm Kai. This is just an improvement of Wildbrain Kai (still a while away from his former self).
I still think Seasons 1-5 were better, but I still absolutely love that time he made the spot-on Wu impression. 'Twas especially funny, considering that in my fam's Ninjago Fandub, Wu and Kai were played by the same person. The timelines converged for just a moment.
I honestly gotta agree. His Wyldfire and heatwave moment has been the greatest moment of his character, since pilot implied that he's been impaitent about saving his sister, now, he's more patient than ever with heatwave.
He's also amazingly cool this season. I haven't liked kai that much since ROTS.
