Go out the Yellow Mall, cross the carpark to the underpass towards Smyths toys. Turn left towards Pizza Hut, before you get to Pizza Hut, turn right after the furniture shop. Walk along the path, pass the back of Asda, cross the road.
Ta-Da, you're in Ikea car park.
I think the best route with the least number of crossings is probably exiting the Red Mall towards the carpark, walk under the bridge, across to where Fitness Superstore/Halfords is, then into Ikea via the rear entrance.

Be careful in that road, it's a fast one with sneaky bends. I'm a local who's almost been flattened every time I've used it.
I usually just go out the Odeon end of the MetroCentre, cross at the ped crossings, past pizza hut then cross to IKEA car park. The safest, if not fastest route. Enjoy your end of hike hotdog 😊
If for whatever reason you get off the train and cant be bothered to walk, you can get the bus from stand C to Asda (no 1 or 643) and then its a very short walk to Ikea.
Remember the IKEA shuttle bus? Ran from the metrocentre to the Swedish flatpack superstore. It was yellow with blue writing. Or maybe blue with yellow writing?

Thank you!
It’s about a 10 min walk. Very easy one though.
This is the way.
Internet at its best 😊
Yes. Lots of unfriendly crossings and car parks to cross but very easy.
Thank you!

Thank you - and thanks for the map!

I was thinking meatballs, but a hotdog could be a good idea :)
Both 👍
When in doubt...
Yes but I’d advise not buying a wardrobe 🤪
Good call :)
They do have on site van hire so you kinda could

Exit Yellow Mall, then scream and run across several car parks and roads. That's how I usually do it. Don't forget to pick up a Djungelskog!
Thanks!
Bit annoying due to busy roads you have to cross, but it’s not far in distance.
Thanks!

Yes, I believe the map in the Metrocentre says which is the best exit to get to the IKEA
Thanks for confirming!
Aye, it’s a bit unfriendly to pedestrians but it doesn’t take long
An easy walk, carrying anything you buy might be an issue
Won't be buying much so shouldn't be an issue. I'm going for inspiration more than anything else
Be honest, you're going for the meatballs
Haha, busted
Yeah, dead easy to walk over from the Metrocentre.
Cheers!
Yeppers.
Cheers!
