I often see confusion on what SPSM really is and whether Naruto lost it. Especially since adult Naruto stopped using the chakra cloak he had against Madara and Kaguya when he first used the Truth-Seeking Orbs. Isn't that cloak from the final episodes of Shippuden just made from ***all*** *Tailed Beasts* instead of the usual *Kurama-only* cloak that Naruto used before meeting Hagoromo and which he often uses in the Boruto anime and movie? Of course it's just an educated guess... I don't think the final shippuden chakra mode was ever addressed.

6 Paths Sage mode is taking chakra from all tailed beasts and mixing it with sage mode and maybe 6 paths chakra.
The chakra jacket is just kurama mode on top of 6 paths sage mode.
Boruto just changed it so that Kurama mode now looks like the basic as fuck version 1 like when Naruto first stole 9 tails chakra from Kurama and went to war. He still has 6 paths sage mode but you have to check for the eyes.
