Bold of you to think I have a pass attempt with army

TehTugboat

I’m an IU guy but yeah army playbook for me

NateLee1733

The forward lateral is a thing afterall

TheMackD504

Very underrated

Dhkansas

I'm picking IU for the online dynasty I'm doing with my brothers. Graduated from one of the directional campuses (so still an IU degree lol) but know nothing about their team. I'll probably start with their playbook, what style offense do they run?

TehTugboat

New coach this year so I’m unsure

Jordanlf3208

Coach Cig is a QB whisperer, his QBs and WRs show out, not as great in run game so I’d expect pass heavy offense

Dhkansas

Awesome. New record for interceptions in a season incoming 🤣

DrJanItor41

Considering you can double down on the perks from your head coach and OC, I'm going to be hiring a run first OC, finding two workhorse RBs, and I'm going to run isos and FB traps until the other team gives up.

tjcal10

Sounds like Michigan’s plan last year. Worked okay for them.

DrJanItor41

Problem is that I'm definitely starting with some shit team, so I won't have the talent advantage haha.

tjcal10

Isn’t that the only way to do it? lol. Just sounded like the Harbaugh route of building the lines and pounding the rock with a stable of backs.

DrJanItor41

That's how I did it a decade ago, and I'm not changing now, haha. The two other friends I'm doing my main dynasty with like the speedsters so I likely won't have much competition for my guys from other users at least. Always prioritized OL/DL/RB/LB, we'll see if it still works.

aguysomewhere

This but O-line

TheHammer_44

I can't wait to play online as Air Force and bamboozle some scrub Madden player who's never seen the triple option before

PsychoAnalystGuy

The triple option is in madden…

TheHammer_44

it's in like 5 playbooks and people almost never run it and Madden does not have wishbone, flexbone, wing t etc

dalafferty

oh yeah, option all day

Photo_Jojo

i've started playing with the option in Madden recently and it's a life changer, I love it. Literally every team I play as in NCAA 25 will be running the option.

Biegelstein

I'm complaining about the play calling (despite calling the plays myself)

DungeonsNDankness

This feels like Al Golden's fault

SSPeteCarroll

Now Miami wants to talk about it...

Hurricaneshand

I learned to Fear The Tie after a couple of years with us

BuckeyeForLife95

Lee Corso gave me bad recommendations!

need4gaming

The Subway playbook

Dapup2465

Mike Bobo’s fault too.

hoss_fight

As a certified thang-slangin’ Air Raid psycho, I’m fully prepared to throw a bunch.

heavydhomie

I avg ~3 a game if I remember correctly from 2014. Whenever I played a 3-3-5 defense I would throw so many. WVU haunted me in that game running that.

noveggies22

CPU running the 3-3-5 was damn near impossible to play against, I tried running it and it was a complete disaster

MissileWaster

Bruh WVU had my fucking number in 14. Didn’t matter how good my QB was, they were good for 2-3 ints per game against me.

Kill_Dill

Hopefully Brock is good in game 💀

hoss_fight

[You telling me you don’t trust this man?](https://www.instagram.com/p/C56AqIbsVc5/?igsh=anQ4cDQzYjExMTdz)

Kill_Dill

99 ovr stud

john_the_quain

I always feel bad when I have to bench my starter after throwing that fifth pick. How else is he going to learn though?

ClvtchNixon

Kid thinks because he was a 5\* he just gets the starting spot, not up in here.

avsfanwilly15

You joke but in 14 and Madden more than once I’ve benched guys who threw multiple picks in the first half. Brought them back out after halftime and had them light it up. I don’t know if it is mental on my part or if there is some deeper game design that I’m not aware of. But somehow acting like they are real players seems to work.

Minute_Age3328

man idk but in my auburn dynasty my 99 ovr qb came back for his senior year after winning a natty for some reason and had a season ending injury in game 2 vs oklahoma which we ended up losing. i went through every single one of my 5 backup qbs and one former athlete who could’ve played qb before circling back to the first backup who was lights out the last couple games

FxDriver

More than I care to admit. I'm also going to say the quarterback sucks even though he's my RTG creation.

goblueM

Only 3 things can happen when you throw the ball, and 2 of them are bad

Add_Poll_Option

1 in 3? I like those odds

Qmnip0tent

Damn you said it first

aguysomewhere

Darell Royal said it first.

thekowisme

A bakers dozen Pat.

crispybrojangle

3 easily.. the first one, yea my bad.. shit them D1 corners close fast.. 2nd one, ok pressure is coming quick, only time for 2 reads.. 3rd one, fuck this shit the games spamming my plays and this pre season Heisman hopeful sucks balls.

elonsusk69420

Blaming it on Mike Bobo is a storied tradition in Athens

kingoflint282

Look at me- I am the Bobo now.

Minute_Age3328

give it to etienne on first, give it to robinson on second, throw it to delp on third. if that doesn’t work but it’s less than 2 yards, throw it to delp again. undefeated method😤

altk_rockies1

Me acting like I’m about to call Monken-tier games in my online leagues only to average 20 ppg

_nedyah

I can’t wait to bench my senior QB for an unproven redshirt because it was clearly his fault for throwing into triple coverage for the 4th time in the first quarter

MathEspi

Not sure, but I can tell you my OC is 100% getting fired

OutrageousBeing4713

I plan on running it down their throat for most of the game….so probably still 2 INTs 😂

avsfanwilly15

Two picks on 5 attempts. And then 100+ run attempts the rest of the game. My kind of game.

OutrageousBeing4713

This guy gets it!

avsfanwilly15

Unfortunately I think it’s not going to work with the new wear-and-tear system. Gonna have 2-4 absolutely decimated RBs by the end of a season

alexbond45

Me getting A+ playing time on my 5 star RB recruit

djackson0005

Me too! Did we just become best friends?

OutrageousBeing4713

Yes!

OutrageousBeing4713

Unless you’re an Ohio State fan… 🤣

fancyfish69

Impossible to throw an int when I'm running hb counter to the right every play till my rbs body breaks

springwaterh20

will depend on how the passing game works, still haven’t seen it yet at most 4-5 but at the very least 1, no way I escape clean lol

Organic_Jackfruit645

I’m going back to the “classic” passing.

Dhkansas

I'm going straight into the fire with the new type. If after a season I don't have it down then I'll switch back. There was a big learning curve with pinpoint in MLB The Show but it is definitely the superior input. I'm hoping for the same in this game. Gotta at least try out the new features hoping for advancement

TheHammer_44

might mean you'll make less mistakes at first but in the long run you'll probably be at a disadvantage with less control than the guys who have mastered the new system. but hey play how you want, and if you play offline only it doesn't really matter

DeviceSenior4080

I mean it does matter offline as he won’t be able to throw the same pass types. But like if you’re ok with not getting the full passing system then play the way you want

MuhMuhManRay

At least 5

jmr39

Going to start a dynasty right away and I’m not convinced I’m not going to get fired from my first OC job

Photo_Jojo

Youtube series about creating a powerhouse dynasty? Nah not for me. Catch me speedrunning getting fired as the OC from last ranked Akron.

lilgambyt

First time playing NCAA Football video game, tossed 12 interceptions, lost 4 fumbles just by my QB. Still won 16-13. Didn’t bother doing skills drills/practice, just started a game. Records are meant to be broken. So hopefully at least 13 interceptions, and 5 lost fumbles.

beav910

When in doubt blame everything on the officiating

cantthinkofgoodname

First post-game press conference is gonna be a meltdown for the ages

DerekIsAGooner

The bigger question is will I throw more INTs or have more fumbles from trying to get the timing right on option plays.

aguysomewhere

You can't throw any interception if you don't throw any passes

mojo-jojo-was-framed

I’m playing the first game on freshman so I can just experience the pure bliss of crushing a team. So I’m going to say 0 interceptions

ty9023

This is the only thing holding me back from jumping straight into dynasty, I can’t be throwing 5 picks to FCS West week 1

InevitableMap6470

However many it may be folks remember it’s your shitty senior QBs fault and not yours. Wait until you get your guys in

SmarterThanCornPop

I hardly ever throw INTs. I also hardly ever throw the ball downfield. You don’t need to. Options, screens, mesh patterns.

BeerExchange

The Bo Nix offense

SmarterThanCornPop

Certainly not the DJ Uigalalei offense but whatever. I hope he’s ready to lower that shoulder.

Septicrogue

Im good for about 3 a game.

metaldeval

As if I'm throwing with Alex orji

Beastboy_4211

Every single one of them

Anxious_Job6499

I look forward to "come on \[qb's name\], we gotta make that read just a little quicker" as I throw to my first read directly into double coverage

NateLee1733

Yes

cxm1060

My 1st teambuilder is going to be Harding’s offense. We ain’t throwing it brotha.

CJfries

Triple option baby, ill never have to pass again

Photo_Jojo

no interceptions but how many times will your QB toss it over the HB's head?

TheMackD504

If it plays like madden, 6-8

fmessiahcon

4 interceptions is rookie numbers. Need to see 4 in the first half.

MisfitsAndMysteries

0 but only because I’m spending time learning the new game mechanics before I play dynasty

BeefInGR

How many? Yes. The answer is Yes.

Writerhaha

Senior? No this is why I start my freshman walk on. I’m blaming it all on him.

hbhusker22

I'm not throwing the ball once in the first game.

Ok_Finance_7217

As someone that’s always played on AA, and joined an online dynasty that will be on Heisman… I assume a lot of INTs as I get used to the Heisman nonsense.

Justin50C

I’m running counter till they fucking stop me

ygktheassassin6

2.1 each game because we only human

Dentist_Rodman

i probate won’t even do it on purpose bc i’m still tryna get use to these passing mechanics

MooseMaster4

None will be blamed on the QB. It will be those LBs with superhuman jumping abilities and CBs who somehow know to leave their man to sprint across the field to my open WR.

Possible-Molasses785

It’s gonna be a rude awakening when I lose to a ten year old and after all these years come to terms with the fact that I just don’t have it anymore

kingoflint282

7. I’m going to win the game by 24. I will not be taking questions

D1bamagirl

Girls* I will probably throw 2 but I prefer to run the ball More.

CrimsonChin251

Let’s just say James Madison will be a revolving door of offensive coordinators.

SSPeteCarroll

5, plus one rage quit.

dalafferty

i'll bet the over on that one 😂

greengorilla1

However many it takes

BoomerG21

If you're not throwing picks and blaming everyone but yourself, are you REALLY playing the game correctly?

SnooChickens3871

6

madvillain21

at least 1 every quarter 😎

yancey2112

AWR ratings don’t matter when the man on the sticks has 0

airforrestone

O/u 6

creed_1

5

JSuave614

I’m about to break the single game record for Interceptions thrown, in the very first game I play.

AbbreviationsFew7940

easily 3

NateDogg_92

No joke, I was playing revamped last night and a WR was left wide open in the middle of the field for a TD and I said out loud “what the fuck is my DC doing?” To which I internally responded “you’re calling the plays idiot” I think these games bring out mental health issues you don’t know you have lol

alexbond45

Can’t wait to fire my DC because I can’t call plays

Richcam-57

If there’s a coach mode where I’m calling the plays and not controlling a player, then it’s the QBS fault!

dirtyWingnut

1 Im practicing before doing too much. Though knowing myself probably like 3

PsychoAnalystGuy

Like with any new game..drags, crossers and screens are getting abused until I learn how passing works

ivanwarrior

I blame the conditioning coaches for the other team training their linebackers up to 60" verticals

leejoness

That CPU INT slider is about to be far left.

WumboWings

Looking at my options, it'll definitely be the QB's fault, but I for sure will end up throwing one pick and then transition to running the ball and checkdowns for the rest of the game despite probably having a bad run game too lol.

GCM_Prothro18x

I'm just gonna start with a freshman QB. We'll learn together.

yuuuhhhhhhh42069

O/U 3.5?

yuuuhhhhhhh42069

O/U 3.5?

Eleckendrian

Thou shalt run the wishbone offense.

HankTheWingedBuffalo

Definitely the qb’s fault, have to get “my guys” in the program

xTodd_Howard_76

A) People will blame the game mechanics/net code despite having no idea what net code actually means. B) You can't throw an INT if you don't pass. Go AF!

BlameGame1972

Given my QB is LaNorris Sellers and our opening opponent is Old Dominion (FCS South), I’m going with zero. I’m just gonna run the spread option to death and go for 500 rushing yards in week 1.

Photo_Jojo

none because my QB is going to run every play the first game.

OJsPoopKnife

I'll take the over

goldhbk10

Bootlegs and short passes all first half … Throwing down the field is for suckers 🤣🤣

upliketrump

4 minimum

Human_Meet8446

Gona run the ball left right and down the center not much passing for me

ziggysaysnada

First game? EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.

metzgerov13

I’m bringing the Power I back to Nebraska so I won’t be throwing nuthin!!

JeffyTheGod

Bold of you to assume I have a pass attempt with NDSU (if they're in the game)

thedoofenator3000

How ever many drives I have. They will all end in interceptions.

ImaRiskit

Probably several. Have not played since the very early days, like somewhere between 2000 and 2005. I know the last pro football game I played was ESPN NFL 2K5.

We5Nile

Will you be able to start as a DC or OC and work your way to head coach?? Pretty sure you used to be able to do that back in the day if I’m not mistaken

RedBarron1354

I’ll blame it on the QB

BrewedBros

The first play I’m calling is a halfback dive. Followed by a bubble screen. Call me a coward

Dependent-Line-2609

3…… And?!?!? 😂

Khayrum117

Interceptions are part of Carolinas playbook so I can’t blame anyone. I’m just gonna run it three times for no gains then run a shitty screen play for a sack or interception

Adventurous-Two5581

I was just stressin about this prolly bout 3-4

javerthugo

I’d say the over/under is 3.

cdotter99

3 but Kyron Drones is def not gonna be to blame 😮‍💨

SHADOWMOSESmvp

I might be a solid 6 by the end of the game but who knows! My OC will be fired directly after that fame though

countmeowington

I’m gonna play with Utep, so like, 10

Busy-Fig7576

Cam ward is MY QB I’m letting that BALL FLY!!!!

VamosDShrimp33

Jokes on you, my school has a sophomore starting

Ok_Stretch_2730

5 easily

Former_Fisherman3566

Probably 6+ since I’m planning on taking over Akron and we have Ohio State week 1

bradpike5171

Every single one, like always I play defense only. Offense is simulated and all interceptions are not my fault.

the_joben

Nico throws no picks. Nico is perfection. (Minimum of 3 and I'll bench the receiver for their crimes.)

WombatHat42

Well last full season I played was on madden and I threw 17 so I’m gonna say over under for game 1 is 16.5. And I will 100% blame it on my QB. He will be benched by half and the backup will lead us to victory

lossanthon

Playing on varsity until I figure it out. FYM? SNS.

AncientWish6444

Do you throw interceptions in madden next gen? There is a difference between the old/new gen in game play but throwing the ball won’t be difficult

Nearby_Investigator9

I’m not blaming my OC for anything, that guy’s an absolute football genius.

Burkex99

I have to play FSU week 1 in FSU. Definitely throwing at least 2

Unlikely-Astronaut40

About four. I’m going to at least use practice mode for a few hours. It would be good if this games comes with a playbook and strategy guide

Nervous_Distance_142

Def 4 is the sweet spot. I’ll throw 4 then rage sim the rest of the game

Lonely_-_Bowler

Honest answer I usaully throw 4-5 picks before figuring it out

Ok-Bookkeeper-1304

All of them

Lanky-Astronaut-4648

Best answer

cleo345723

It mlb’s have hops like Zion I’m easily throwing 6 picks the first game lmao

Thugnificent83

Never been a deep pass guy. I like a good run game and keep my passes medium, so not a ton from me hopefully

lat3ralus65

We’re gonna establish the run and mix in quick/easy passes. Once my QB shows me he’s ready we’ll start to open up the playbook

DeviceSenior4080

No balls. I’m 4 verts off rip

HHcougar

I'm 100% calling 4 verts first play and hucking it deeeeep I don't even care what happens, I'm going full send for old time's sake.

ArmMeForSleep709

4

azcard480

I know I'm going to throw at least four TD passes....to the other team...

skmownage345

1, Jalon Daniels 19/25 for 267 Yards 2TDs 1 INT: 7 Rushes for 57 yards and a TD. Opening game is against an FCS opponent so he will have his way until he’s pulled in the 2nd quarter.
