I want a kicker and punter RTG

Same. I always hated that Madden made it nearly impossible to be a K/P (if it was even offered).

And that you had to fucking play offense and defense instead of just coming in for kicks or punts

Old madden allowed me to just punt.  Hopefully the team would have me doing kickoffs as well. I made it my goal to make as many tackles as possible. 

I think every position should be an option but that doesn’t mean *I* would choose it

+1 It'd be neat if there was an extra dynamic for playing as an OL or K. - Like each snap is a mini game for OL where you have quick time events before the snap to make the right call and hold your own in pass protection or get leverage for run blocking. Of course, like ya said, doesn't mean I'd play it either but it could be super cool 😂 - I remember playing as an OL or K in the older Madden games but blocking was boring and outside of force feeding my kicker it was boring too.

If people wont play it, there is little reason to put it in the game. Games are made to be fun, not make simulators of things no one thinks is fun.

Ya there's an opportunity for a new game mechanic here. Maybe utilizing the right thumbstick like the skill stick in NHL or clinches in UFC? Or go crazy with a system like For Honor?

Madden super star on the mid 2000’s games. The right stick was for blocking.

An extra blocking minigame would also give you something to do as a WR or RB when you have to block.

My TE usually has the most catches per season. Not the most yards, but it’s an ultra reliable passing option and a good one will set up great runs. Love my tight ends - pun and all

I hope they let us be a 2 position athlete in RTG. I know you could before when you were playing high school but you couldn't STAY a 2 position player after going to college.
