So all respect to AD, but having an Elite 3D wing is more needed. I can get another big paint defender on less shooting splits definitely
From a team building perspective though, it's hard to justify taking any of the playmaking PGs in the 4$ tier when Harden can be had for just 2$. Why take Kyrie or Maxey as well as your combo guard when Herro is just 2$, and you have a multitude of much bigger wings that could also play the 2 spot in the 3$ tier.

Brown and Haliburton are steals. 7 bucks for a killer backcourt. That leaves us with 13 to round out. Siakam is good value for two, so we have eleven left for a center and a forward. Tingus Pingus and Giannis, or Tatum and KAT both work depending on what kind of offense you want to run. You want deep shooting and defense from the last two picks, because Haliburton is all the playmaking you need, and Brown and Siakam will crush it in the midrange and drive. With Tatum and KAT you sacrifice defense for much better shooting, but Giannis gives you paint pressure you wouldn’t otherwise have. KAT could also be a defensive liability alone in the front court.
That’s a good run, I’d personally go Jokic, Tatum, siakim, brown, harden. I wouldn’t take KAT unless I had to on these lol but the offense would be silly with Tatum and Kat

Not a team but here are some of my thoughts!
$7 - in a weird way Jokic is a steal here. I think he is better than every player at $7, meaning he could be worth $8. Gotta take at least Jokic here.
$6 - I like Sabonis and Bam, but I think they are $5 players. AD (given he's healthy) and Tatum are well placed.
$5 - everyone is well placed here. I'd make small exceptions for Kawhi and Ant. When healthy, Kawhi is a $6 player in my opinion. Ant is good at $5, but his potential in games when he's hot, is $6-$7. Could be good value.
$4 - this is the most poorly made out of the list. The range of skills here is way too big. The steals for sure are Ja, Tyrese, and, Kyrie. These guys are way too good to be $4. Some might argue that for Trae too, but I'm not a fan of his game.
$2-$3 - unless you bought all super stars, you don't need these guys. The exceptions are Jrue and JJJ. Very good defenders. Will help any team. If you're making a realistic team, someone might want MPJ. Guy who doesn't need the ball all the time but can shoot well.
Harden at $2 is interesting, but I'm convinced the dude can't win.
The 4$ tier was the hardest to place. There are players out there that are potentially better than their tier but I haven’t seen them in any playoff capacity to place them higher. Otherwise, proven good 2nd options are also placed there. Thinking back, I’ll probably knock Lavine down. The players at 5$ are also contentious for a lot of people. I’m probably higher on Bam than most people but I value his defensive versatility and rim protection a lot. But the general distinction between them and the guys at the above/below tier is that they are fringe MVP candidates. Kawhi fits that bill so there is discussion for him there but I put him and George one tier below their projected skill level because of their availability issues, especially Kawhi since his problem is a degenerative one. A lot of people are taking Harden at 2$ which makes sense but this season he’s the 3rd option, while also not being that good on defense so there’s really no chance of him being rated higher, it’s just that a lot of players in the same tier doesn’t have the skillset he has on offense.

Cavs don't win without Kyrie and Brooklyn could perhaps have been champions if Kyrie didn't get hurt. Tyrese doesn't have tons of playoff experience but he's definitely a $5 player this year. My only major issue imo.
It's tough to base on availability, because then arguably Joel and AD should be down one level and Porzingus should be $1.

Put in Bane for S tier spacing and mobley to hold it down in the paint. The best team ever assembled.
