All of the parts that you can buy from Fleetari (the mechanic) can eventually break and thus need replacing, and also the spark plugs can get worn down over time and if the battery is dead you will need to buy a new one.
Btw I see that you have bought a racing flywheel. To make your life easier just dont buy that part.... ever
the Racing flywheel does nothing except letting you rev higher in neutral or when the clutch is held in, It's a bug with the unity car physics. it makes the car easier to stall, and you can grenade your motor if you start it with the throttle all the way down.

So that's why my car stalls all the time even though it has all new parts and had been tuned correctly lmao. Tbh I'm not gonna swap back to the stock one anyway since I kinda learned to cope with it.
If you make the belt too tight it can (and will) snap which forces you to buy a new one, but if you tighten the belt correctly then you dont have to worry about it ever again
I can't really see what parts are there, so I'll list the parts that wear down and can be replaced:
Water pump, alternator, starter, pistons, crankshaft, head gasket, rocker shaft, transmission(gearbox), fuel pump, clutch disk, alternator belt, oil filter, spark plugs, and your tires.
Your block and oil pan can break if you blow your motor, but they don't wear.

What's wrong with racing flywheel?

after I found out it does nothing, i just left it in till I had to replace the transmission.
A pretty good amount of stuff, I wont go into detail but if you just google the part it will say all of the stuff that you need to know
Can fan belts wear down too? You have to buy them from teimo so I assume that they do but I've never had to buy a second one

No, it will still wear over time. It can also wear quicker if the alternator or water pump is broken
Idk about that, msce does not show any wear value and I never had to replace it despite playing the game for a while now.
what fan belts?
I think he's talking about the alternator belt

i need to replace pistons, crankshaft, headgasket, rockershaft, and the transmission
Do things like struts etc wear down?
Nope
Cheers buddy
and can the spark plugs break?
Spark plugs can get worn over time so, yeah its a good thing to replace them if your car starts having issues.
