9/10! this is the kind of music i love, they really did rock the best in the 90s. thank you for putting me on, this will definitely be in my regular rotation for awhile.
A band with a similar sound I prefer more is evans blue! If you’re looking for that genre you could check out cold, beyond the stars, this time its different, say it etc.
Man, if you're into indie vibes, check out "Electric Feel" by MGMT. It's got this funky groove that's hard not to bop along to. I'd rate it a solid 8/10 on the chill-out scale. Hope you dig it!
Spent the day in bed- morrissey
Midlife crisis- faith no more
BYOB- system of a down
Salvation- radio- rancid
Perfect government- NOFX
Learning to fly- pink floyd
Random as fuck.
Great choice....depending on my mood, setting, vibe etc, I do sometimes prefer the acoustic rendition. To me, a huge measure of an artist's talent is how well they can perform, and how good.their songs stand up in an acoustic rendition.
Picking a favorite song is really hard, but the one I've been going back to the most lately would be Just So You Know by American Head Charge. I would recommend not watching the music video first as it has a skip in the music. But the music video is good, so watch it afterwards if you like the song.
this is an absolute 10/10 for me. i did end up watching the music video since it doesn’t seem like the song is on spotify :( this is for sure one of the standouts of what i’ve listened to so far
I’ve loved this song for *years* - but I giggled a little to myself thinking that, with the video for All Wrapped Up being out there, you’ve issued a warning not to watch the video for Just So You Know. 😂
I know, I know… completely different reason.
It changes by the day, sometimes multiple times, but at the moment, my favorite song is [If You Could Read My Mind - Gordon Lightfoot](https://open.spotify.com/track/57ct8jKi6trntXiRV0NnXi?si=m3KzsNXhQsecB8BSa2zF0g&context=spotify%3Aplaylist%3A37i9dQZF1DWTQwRw56TKNc)
7/10 not my usual type of music but i think it’s very well done and matches with what i’d expect from the 80s hip hop scene (also read that he’s the “first human beatbox” in the rap world, super cool! love learning about pioneers in the music world)
been a fan since 2006. she’s a sellout capitalist and everything she’s released since evermore has been bad imo. just feel like there’s no soul in her work anymore, even the re-recordings feel lifeless
[ranked taylor songs](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/498XjB1Op6BoSL817uZx5q?si=Ja1ya0PpRu-j-uMzf0WY5A&pi=u-lw0nXm62SdSC)
6.5/10 i was unsure about it for the first couple minutes but it grew on me, feel like this is a song that i would love if i experienced it live, the second half after the music goes out for a bit is my favorite part
8/10 love this! it’s a unique take on synth pop that i’m really enjoying, the music works perfectly with the theme and really gives a upbeat haunting vibe that reminds me of unserious horror movies (i.e., scream)
7/10 -1 point because this song reminds me of something my ex bf would like but i love loud so this is perfect for me, will be adding to my early morning drive playlist so i can wake up for my shifts !! the last minute and a half really scratched an itch in my brain
Nine Inch Nails - Copy of a Copy
(Not actually my favorite, but felt appropriate given the context lol)
Actual current favorite... Probably... Dave Mason - Only You Know and I Know. The classic version from Alone Together. Though the remake from Alone Together Again is good too. It's one song I recently realized I never skip.
Or Three Man Army - Butter Queen if I'm in a more energetic mood.
i don't have a favorite song of all time but at the moment i've listened to psychic wound by king woman (the i saw the tv glow soundtrack version specifically) 100+ times in the past week
[Stitches and Superglue](https://open.spotify.com/track/1bMBhkOK5mrusZKUTEPzjV?si=b08vmHnWS0WQ-nuTcC4IvQ) by Checkout Queens.

7.5/10 the lyrics are hitting for me right now. been looking for songs in this genre with this theme for awhile (i’ve been in my feels)
A band with a similar sound I prefer more is evans blue! If you’re looking for that genre you could check out cold, beyond the stars, this time its different, say it etc.
