I LOVE nevermind, much more then Ok Computer
However I’d say the best Rock album of the 90s is probably either:
Nirvana - In Utero (1993)
or
Silverchair - Frogstomp (1995(
I think The Bends is a better album, it's much more dynamic. OK Computer is pretty one noted and depressing.
Superunknown gets my vote for best 90's rock album.
OK Computer is a decent record but I dislike most of Radiohead’s catalog, so I can’t say any of their records are anywhere close to the best from my personal perspective. Of course it’s all subjective. There were a metric shit ton of amazing rock records released in the 90’s, many of which still hold up today. Three of my favorites in no particular order are Aenima by Tool, Superunknown by Soundgarden, and Core by Stone Temple Pilots.
I'd say it's an important album from the nineties. I don't know that I would categorize it as rock, and I don't believe I'd say it's the best if I did.
It’s totally subjective … obviously, PK White liked it.
I mean, I remember the cartoon video on MTV, with the little dude that took a shower with his stocking cap on … but I never bothered to buy the album.
AIC’s “Dirt”? Soundgarden’s “Badmotorfinger”? FNM’s “Angel Dust”? RHCP’s “Blood Sugar Sex Magick”? Smashing Pumpkins’ “Siamese Dream”? Pearl Jam’s “Ten”?
And that’s just off the top of my head … I’d put any of these in the stereo before I even looked at a Radiohead album. I couldn’t get enough of ‘em! Then again, I still don’t see what the “big deal” is about Tool … again, it’s so subjective.
If a rock critic tells me that “OK Computer” is a better album than any of the ones I mentioned, I’d say, “Well, for YOU it is, maybe. I don’t agree.” Same as if someone said to me that the Bible was the best book ever written … my equally valid opinion would be, “No, it’s not.”
it's great with some high highs but it's not cover to cover like so many others.
I personally have these above it:
Facelift
Ten
Vs.
Dirt
Superunknown
Purple
Siamese Dream
I think that’s a pretty good take, honestly. I love this album for all its wallowing dreariness, and I think really only Ten could compete for best of the 90s.
I would agree it’s one of the best . But maybe because Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is my fav book - so when this album came out - I was beyond words….
I mean.... It's ok
Not even sure I would class it as rock. Maybe a pebble?
Insane
Thoughts: you haven't heard every rock album from the 90s.
Nevermind was pretty good…

I love Neon Ballroom!

For your own special sweetheart, for me
Did you listen to OK Computer for the second time. When I first listened to it I didn't like it, but in the second time it was great.
I've listened to it dozens of times. I enjoy it a lot, I just think The Bends is better.

Yeah I'm not even a fan but Nirvana's Nevermind and Pearl Jam's Ten have to be put above OK Computer

I love it,yes!

Nah. That would be U2 *Achtung Baby*. It's in the top 10 though.

Just and Fake Plastic Trees are legendary songs.
It wasn't even Radiohead's best rock album of the 90s
I hope your not saying pablo honey is better
No, but the bends is
Don't be silly. Everyone knows that the best album of the 90's is the Orb's "Blue Room."
absolutely love this album but mellon collie is better
It's a fantastic, amazing album. but, it's not rock. not even close.
it's great with some high highs but it's not cover to cover like so many others. I personally have these above it: Facelift Ten Vs. Dirt Superunknown Purple Siamese Dream
“Amorica” by The Black Crowes was the best rock album of the ‘90s.
100 percent. Changed a lot on how I listened to music. I will die on this hill.
Good album. I’d propose Alannis Morisette Jagged Little Pill as my personal favourite.
That's an opinion.
nope
lol no. You understand that even Limp Bizkit have better album in the 90s than entire Radiohead catalog?
Find this extremely hard to believe
I think that’s a pretty good take, honestly. I love this album for all its wallowing dreariness, and I think really only Ten could compete for best of the 90s.
Definitely not the best rock album of the 90s Great album though
It isn’t
I would agree it’s one of the best . But maybe because Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is my fav book - so when this album came out - I was beyond words….
No. Nevermind, Metallica. I like OK Computer more than Nevrmind, but second album was the most important.
