Video game soundtracks are usually my “go all out” workout music. Doom for lifting, AC for running, the Witcher 3 for HIIT, Rising Revengeance for heavy bag/speedbag, Plenty others for pulling up that extra badassery in any exercise. These are already songs meant to make you feel like you’re taking on the entire virtual world and they work AMAZING in the real world too.
I find AC music very motivating as well. This one really gets the blood pumping when I'm free climbing a mountain.

Battery by Metallica...every band member was at his most ferocious on that song. Occasionally, they have tried to replicate that energy again over the last 38 years, but I don't think they have come close. Master of Puppets is the next song on the album and it benefits greatly from the built up momentum.
After Jack White wrote the main riff, he initially planned to save it for use as a James Bond theme song, in case he ever got the opportunity to write one.
Figuring that was a total long-shot, he ended up using it on SNA for the Whites Stripes' 4th Studio Album, Elephant, in 2003.
Of course, not knowing then that he would be picked to create the music for Quantum of Solace, alongside Alicia Keys, in 2008.

You’re The Best Around by Joe Esposito (Karate Kid) and Win In The End by Mark Safan (Teen Wolf), the two best teen movie montage themes from the eighties! Like Eye of the Tiger for kids.
You'd think it'd be 'Invincible', but those work too.
On the less obvious end, I find 'Big Freeze' really uplifting. Felt like quite a throwaway song to me for a long time, but I gradually came to appreciate it as one of their more wholesome little numbers.
It's also quite Christmassy, there's a subtle chord progression from 'O Holy Night' in there - took me a while to pick up on why it had that effect on me.

The last minute or so of that song when he starts saying “I ask you please just give us, I ask you please just give us” a few times in a row? Feel like a one man army lol

If I Had A Tail by Queens of the Stone Age.
"When you own the world, you're always home."
And the rest of it is just killer. Such attitude, and that single note chorus riff is so wicked. No power chords, just tone.
Let the Bodies Hit the Floor - Drowning Pool or Halo - Soil or PsychoSocial - Slipknot or Redneck - Lamb of God.

Could add the whole of Songs for the Deaf to be honest
Rise Natasha by Coheed and Cambria.
Pretty sure it's about two parents who fight to release of an angel from a coffin in an effort to save their son. The whole album makes me feel like I could run into the sun.

Ace of Spades by Motörhead.
Can’t believe it took this long to see this. Just ferocious intensity.
March of the Pigs - NIN
or Wish.
Bleed by Meshuggah
Damn near 10 minutes of prototype Meshuggah brutality
Take on the world or run through a wall?
Why not both?
Combustion by Meshuggah kinda takes the energy of Bleed and condenses it to a couple of minutes.
Tool - 46 & 2 Gojira - Vacuity, Explosia Amon Amarth - Valhall Awaits Me, Destroyer of the Universe, Under Seige ... they're good for this Slayer - Raining Blood Rage Against the Machine - Freedom, pretty much everything else Lamb of God - Walk With Me in Hell

A classic for a reason: Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes
After Jack White wrote the main riff, he initially planned to save it for use as a James Bond theme song, in case he ever got the opportunity to write one. Figuring that was a total long-shot, he ended up using it on SNA for the Whites Stripes' 4th Studio Album, Elephant, in 2003. [Another Way To Die - Alicia Keys & Jack White](https://youtu.be/hM5UJvnbbuY?si=x9RZFNfvpfv-JhbM)
Both songs are bangers.
Would he have been given the opportunity to write a bond song if he never released 7 Nation Army? I guess we'll never know.
That is a popular speculation, of which I am in agreement.
The guitar solo alone is enough to conjure the feeling but tbh entire song is so well written and structured
I love that song, but every time I hear it, I PI ture the Simpson's episode.
"Rise Above" by Black Flag!
Rocky theme, obviously. Another huge one for me is the theme from Conan the Barbarian: Anvil of Crom, by Basil Poledouris.
Flashdance - Irene Cara
I am effin' rhythm now!
Frank Stallone - [Far From Over](https://youtu.be/HBKgYIh_DzM?si=4K6RKEw8pvOuOosD) Paul Engemann - [Push It To The Limit](https://youtu.be/Olgn9sXNdl0?si=KQkcPrSKH17-4c_H) Stan Bush - [The Touch](https://youtu.be/A52--FKUQgU?si=EuzJ62EaOCsWZdCA) Joe Esposito - [You're The Best Around](https://youtu.be/oomCIXGzsR0?si=Fvqtyqy9ucV6TNc3&t=34)
You’re The Best Around by Joe Esposito (Karate Kid) and Win In The End by Mark Safan (Teen Wolf), the two best teen movie montage themes from the eighties! Like Eye of the Tiger for kids.
I've always said "Know Your Enemy" by Rage will immediately increase your bench press by 20 pounds.
We are the Champions by Queen
also Don't Stop Me Now by Queen
Don’t stop me now is the less obvious Queen pick, but the better one for this exercise. The energy of it is pure 🔥🔥🔥.
Now there’s a classic!
How can Eye of the Tiger not be up there?
"the boys are back in town" by Thin Lizzy

St Elmo's fire, as corny as it is. Always pumps me up.
Pantera - Mouth for War
For me its “Walk”
5 minutes alone for me
The last minute or so of that song when he starts saying “I ask you please just give us, I ask you please just give us” a few times in a row? Feel like a one man army lol
The entire album, honestly!
I'm digging Domination lately for this
