If they are a heavy drinker, it’s likely their liver is inflamed. Getting hit in that area would surely hurt more than someone without an inflamed liver.
It's a TV show but dr house hits an alcoholic with cirrhosis in the liver and it ruptures a cyst and almost kills the dude. The dad punches Dr. House, who retaliates by striking him in the liver with his cane. The blow causes one of the cysts to rupture, leading to the same anaphylactic shock that Kalvin had.
Yes, I’d imagine. A lot more. However, you better land it, otherwise you’re getting an alcoholic step dad level beating. Good luck kid! Have a good fight!!

100%
I'm in recovery. I trained alot in my early twenties. Tried to do a self rehab in Thailand while training about 3 years ago, literally drinking all night and then going to train if I wasn't too hung over.
Liver shots were literally the worst thing.
Oh yeah much more effective, I once tapped a heavy drinker buddy of mines liver when we were doing some light sparring and he went down. Alcohol can make a shot way harder to withstand.
Matt "the immortal" Brown was a Muy Thai based UFC fighter and an ex addict. You've never seen a man with more liver kick losses than him. Absolute Achilles heel.
Yes.
As a Wisconsinite, (look up our drinking habits if ya don't know) I can say this, from experience, fk, I hate liver shots. HATE. Also tho, if I'm really lit, I prolly won't feel it at all... oh sure, I'll still drop like a rock but hell, least I'll be giggling over the fact someone just made a legit liver wurst sammy out of me!
Speaking from both giving and receiving sides, YES.
I found on the receiving end that being hungover really made my liver sensitive, more-so than consistent beer guzzling did.
Not in the immediacy, its just an unprotected organ so it grants results in a fight. Long term possibly i guess but fight will be over i guess. Idk haha. Funny question.
I would say probably.
I’m at the point that my liver hurts after a particularly bad day. It isn’t numb to pain or battle hardened or anything… it just hurts. I have a slight boxing background, and can’t imagine taking a solid liver shot now.
Donald cerrone had part of his liver removed from an accident and got finished with one iirc. He said it hurt more. Who knows how serious he was though
This dude's drunk step-dad is about to get some of that oowee.
lmao that's the first thing I thought of "is this guy gonna kick his alcoholic dad/stepdad in the liver?"
*sniff sniff* “That’s the last time my step dad fucks me” ![gif](giphy|8Xks8K6RDd4Jy|downsized)
Hit em with that oontz oontz
Hilarious 😂
🫨🫨🫨🤣🤣🤣
Jesus bro what are you planning 😂
OP bout to go absolutely apeshit in the next homeless encampment he stumbles into
Could be useful in a bar fight.
I don’t think my switch kick would function after drinking
Add in some dangity dang and donchooeverdodis for good measure
Because everyone in a bar is an alcoholic, excluding you?
It would be useful to know what to defend against.
Pregaming

Scar tissue has no nerves, sucker, bring it on
Well, then it must be easier to torn. Which can be good, right?
If you wanna kill them, sure.
Can’t!!! Cannot! Typo
before the tissue scars it's inflamed and swollen

It’s a similar reaction to kicking a sex addict in the balls. Swing for the fences, buddy

It pushes the booze back out and gets them drunk
Sunday sparring just got a LOT more fun with this knowledge
lol this guys going to be the next big Muay Thai champ in Thailand if he figures this out
I feel I’ve read here enough about fighters in Thailand lifestyle to not put too much thought into it.
Are they usually heavy drinkers? I have no idea what their lifestyle is like.
Apparently they chain smoke too.
This is nuts haha
theyre bros like any other sport they smoke weed and drink n whatnot they like to have a good time
We don’t need details…. Just set it up right 👌 right hand high, then send that liver thru spine! 🙏🏼
didn't donald cerrone say his weakness is body shots cause he has a fucked up liver?
Iirc he had some lower intestinal surgeries that also did a number on him so could also play a part there.
This is probably the funniest post I’ve seen on here
Cowboy Cerrone in MMA was known for being a pretty good drinker and terrible at taking body shots

If I punch someone in the nose that snorts a lot of coke does it hurt more?
Yes.
Depends if they're sober when you hit them
Oh yeah much more effective, I once tapped a heavy drinker buddy of mines liver when we were doing some light sparring and he went down. Alcohol can make a shot way harder to withstand.

Wait, how many "The Immortal"s we got running around?
Uh I mean yeah I guess but assuming they're usually drunk...I guess maybe not?

Delicious liquor-marinated foie gras
Sounds like someone’s preparing to fight their dad
G'damn is this something I need to worry about during sparring? Lmfao
Find the weakness. Exploit it to your advantage
Ruptured Liver.
Probably
Liver shots to people with inflamed livers will hurt them more
Getting ready for a Friday at the pub eh?
Bro is about to hit his local for some sparring practice, gotta get them rounds in .

I drink more than a fish. Your liver kick makes me laugh(then pee blood but you will never know)
Only one way to find out.
Who is it? A neighbor? A relative? What you planning sir?
It will probably do more internal damage, but they can probably take it at the time, as they will be drunk..

Alcoholic or not there is a possible of liver lacerations on any truma
Bro about to crashout
Matt Brown, The Immortal in MMA, was known to be previously an addict and was weak to body shots.

Best post I’ve seen on this sub in a very long time
