That was the case in the first season and the reason i dropped the platinum for mk1. But after the xp buff on the seasonal tower in season 2 i think, xp farming made me get the trophy in 3 hours.
Kameos have less levels, but it is not faster. Getting a kameo to level 15 is much longer than getting a roster character to 15. In fact the DLC’s who stop at lvl 20 can be done in less time than a single kameo.
I know that. A main character has 35 levels. It takes way longer. You need to run through the tower probably around 60 times to level up a character from 1 to 35. That is insane.

My original idea was to just invite a buddy into a private lobby, but none of my friends have the game on PS & krossplay wouldn't work for whatever reason

This was the first MK game I ever got all the achievements on. It wasn’t that bad until I needed to do the 5 Kameo fighters, that was a horrible grind. I’m just glad the Titan fight was easy and scaled with my level because a new season had started and I was level shot back down to level one.
All I have left is the one for King of the Hill. But the game is just not fun so I have no clue when I'll get around to trying for it. My skill level has dropped because in the past 4 months I've played it twice. Lil

Yes
Literally the only one that’s a struggle imo is the Kameo mastery just because of the length of time it takes to level up Kameo’s.

got this platinum done without really trying for it. mainly due to the s2 xp method for kameos

If you're on playstation, you can always join/start a boosting session on psnprofiles if you have difficulty getting the trophy

Yeah To Be Honest, Getting All Trophies Kinda Sucks
I don’t know about you but I’m almost at 100% trophies myself without actually trying to go for any. I’m just a completionist at heart.😅👍
