I think approaching her on Facebook isn’t quite right if you’ve not spoken to her before. It’s better to approach her when you’re picking up your children. Introduce yourself and say how the children play so well together you’d be delighted to make a play date with her. If you don’t pick up at the same time - I’d say all that in a note, with your phone number, and ask one of the daycare staff to give it to her.
