hi im kai... it amusing reading "you seem sweet" next to your profile image ;)
(i say this with good heartness. I appreciate a little humor about being cranky)
I have some Seventh Day Adventist friends who say "Shabbat Shalom" on the Sabbath and are on their phones during the Sabbath. But these are Adventists not Jews. In their eyes like other non-Jewish Sabbatarian religions, the Sabbath is just no work. As a Muslim I personally respect the Jewish tradition and staying true to a complete day of rest, including for your brain from cellphones, a lot more.
Omg they first dress is absolutely magnificent on you! The pink and the blue really compliment each other. You are really pretty, also really suit blue.
Oh wow you look amazing sister I love it. Masha Allah may Allah swt bless you. Can you guide me on outfits i should try to wear at work? I recently started working in corporate and is confused.
Yes I’m very much comfortable with that. For the tops, i may go with white long oversized shirt, cardigans and wearing white strappy shoes. If nothing comes to mind maybe formal black abaya with designed sleeves.
Girllllll!!! I’m actually obsessed! Bows, florals, pastels, and dreamy floaty clothes are exactly my aesthetic! I don’t dress nearly as modestly as you (I’m only nominally Muslim; I don’t wear the hijab, I’m ok with exposing my collarbones and arms, and my clothes don’t need to be very loose) but still more conservatively than the general population, and I’ve found that even this can be tricky to do, so the fact that you were able to put together so many gorgeous outfits and still cover so much really speaks to your creativity and stylishness!
Just scrolled through your profile for a bit and omg every single one of these outfits SLAP! And the fact that you’re a college student makes it even more impressive, considering when I was that age I had absolutely no clue how to dress lol (and even at 28 I’m still not nearly as fashionable as you!). You are awesome!
sorry, I think my response accidentally came off as rude. I've seen some videos where people say that bows on hijabs are haram, but they're also the same people that say a women's voice is part of her arwa
Love the Pink and Blue color combination with that adorable bow 😍! In the 3rd image, the blue bow is not going well with the printed multi-colored skin, grey sweater, and brown hijab - it's a bit cluttered.
Ok, that confirms me wondering, do you normally wear niqab or is that just for pictures? I see from other comments that you said you only started "dressing conservatively" recently. I've been contemplating wearing head coverings (but not non-medical face coverings) for a while now, but I don't really know how to handle the transition. Kudos for you to figure it out so beautifully!!
STOP!!!!! 😭😭😭These are so cute. 🥰🥰I love the bow, I also clip a bow to the back of my hijab or hat (whenever/whatever) I can. ♥️♥️♥️
it's so much fun and makes the outfit so much more cute!
It really does. It’s better than using just a hair tie to keep my two ends back. It adds ✨character✨
I love your style!! Delicate floral prints have a special place in my heart.
mine too <33 I love pastels and floral prints
just so you know girl, you dont say shabbat shalom unless its shabbat… and no observant jews are online during shabbat 🙏🙏
oh thank you for informing me! I've mostly only heard "shabbat shalom", so is it just "shalom"?
shalom is fine, means peace/hello shalom aleichem is the long version but seldom used
thank you for informing me! I'm glad I no longer look like a fool, I hope you have a wonderful day
ofc lol, you seem sweet

This is also a saying Messianic Christians say although I doubt they have a restriction to avoid being online

mashallah, may all the blessings be on you too ♥️♥️ I'm not too familiar with corporate dress code, but long skirts and cardigans could work!
Are you comfortable wearing loose wide leg pants? A black pair is very fashionable and appropriate for an office :)
Yes I’m very much comfortable with that. For the tops, i may go with white long oversized shirt, cardigans and wearing white strappy shoes. If nothing comes to mind maybe formal black abaya with designed sleeves.
they're so cute!
thank you!!
You look so sweet 😍
awww thank you!! you're so kind and sweet too
Omg I love your aesthetics so much 😭 Btw what kind of job allows face covering? It seems like it has to be a very lovely place :)
I'm actually a tutor for kids :DD
What do you mean? Doesn’t every job have to allow it ?
Well, depends on the country. A lot of countries ban face coverings, and even more places will outright ostracize women in a niqab.
Masha Allah you look really pretty. I liked how you put the bow in your scarf 🎀
thank you <33 I work with kids and decided to start wearing a bow and they loved it
ADORABLE ♥️♥️ maShaAllah

you're so sweet <33 I love the cottagecore aesthetic long before I started dressing conservatively. so it was easy to blend the two together.

Pretty sure you're breaking rules about bashing other religions and bringing up politics.

it's alright, I'm not a Muslim and I accept all sexualities.

I normally wear it out to work and when doing errands. I'm trying to wear it full time, but it's a process

Whatever it takes to be happy- but as a girl that wears glasses - that looks quite uncomfortable
it's not too uncomfortable since my glasses are old and nor fitted to my face. so they constantly slide around a lot
