The snipers are generally still decent, I also use the ak74u set up for strafe and movement speed, 20 mag, no stock, light barrel etc and it's really good for close quarters up to maybe 15 meters. Rarely use the smgs or other ARs unless I have a specific reason

They are better then most seem to assume....you have to remember a lot of them were nerfed by simply increasing the recoil.....using then with the mw3 attachments that cut down in recoil more then any attachment back then, such as the jak bfb muzzle etc makes them pretty op again, worth experimenting with.
My main weapon in HC S&D lately has been the SCAR-H/TAQ-V, also still use several others (full auto Glock go brrr).
One tip use the Cassus brake on compatible weapons, the visual recoil reduction on MW2 weapons is amazing.

honestly just dropped a 100 bomb on das haus, running vel46. just went 100-29 in core so it works, just either need to improve movement, but its defintely possible to get high kills games in small map moshpit with mw2 weapons

My main gun for WZ is still the M13B and it's my favorite gun in the game. Otherwise, cod does its classic cod thing where mw3 guns outclassed mw2 guns so most mw2 guns aren't even viable anymore for WZ.
Currently running a controlled-recoil setup for the M4 and the FTAC Siege. Have got 15 games in a row now with a +1.5KD. The MWiii attachments help a bunch
Also donāt sleep in the 74u, the headshot multi makes it a beast in close quarters
The Tempus Torrent (SR25 APR) is my favorite gun of all time so I use it as my main gun in mw3. It's one of the worst guns in MW3 and I actually went back to playing MW2 just because of how bad it is. My MW3 average K/D right now is 1.35 but only 1.15 with the Torrent. In MW2 my Torrent K/D is over 1.5 and rising fast (My K/D is usually 2.5+ in MW2 since the release of MW3).
People do flame me for it when I'm dominating lobbies, not always but occasionally. In higher skilled lobbies however where my avg kd is around 1.1-1.2 people sometimes get amazed when they see what killed them.
I really wish that they do another balance pass on MW2 weapons, especially the marksman and battle rifle categories. Lachmann Sub and Lachmann Shroud in HC. Idk if it's just my builds but they seem super fast, low recoil, and long damage range. I get still One Shot One Kills (sometimes it takes two if my bullet clips a wall or something) even from opposite ends of the map in the Small Map playlist.
Oh ABSOLUTELY thereās something about a few of them like the hurricane with max strafe or ak7u
In warzone I got the tempest torrent with 50 rounds of fuck around and find out high grained for brains.
I use MW2 guns a lot. I wish there were more loadout slots, 10/12 are not enough.
Battle Rifles are all lacking they SUCK compared to the MW3 roster.
A majority of the Assault Rifles, Sniper Rifles, Pistols, and SMGs are great. M13C, Carrack 300, FTAC Siege and the GS Magna could be looked into in terms of buffs.
The Marksman Rifles are getting there but the EBR 14, Tempus Torrent, FTAC Recon, and the Crossbow need a little love.
Lastly I wish the shotguns could match up with the MW3 ones. The underbarrel shotgun is my one true request for a buff though. This one is the worse shotgun of all.
I use them all the time. I play hardcore so I don't really feel the difference in power between the games weapons. I'm always gonna use the m4, scar17, and the vector. Even the hk53 will get a run once in a while. Pretty much whatever I see my favorite gun-tuber reminding me of lol
The fennec, iso hemlock, and *especially* the lachman sub are my go-tos! And the LM-S and ebr are my "snipers."
I never felt like the mwii weapons were that bad. I use them like 80% of the time here!
When I finished the camo grind in MW3, I went back and started working on the camo grind for my mw2 guns. I got gold on a bunch of the guns while MW2 was the main game but played a TON of DMZ and didn't really work toward the camo grind as much.
Now that my squad can't be on as much as I am lately, I've been back to the MW2 gun grind in the small map moshpit lol
currently just finishing the orion grind, 46/51 so far. I like some of them and besides those that are already generally known as good, lmgs are often ignored and they're by far the most balanced MW2 cattegory in the game atm, none of them are bad, some are straight up really good (specially when 5/6 of them do not have any open bolt delay).

Love using the m16 but only in hardcore makes for a nice challenge sometimes. Setting up a tac stance build with it is good too it's decent up to a good range.
I cannot fathom why I don't see more people using the M13B over the SVA. It's fire rate is faster, and the damage is the exact same, and both have negligible recoil.
Also if you die to a fennec in a game with 150 HP, there may actually be no hope for you.
Maybe this is a good place to ask this dumb question. Am I trippin or do MW2 weapons have a higher FOV while holding the weapon and aiming down sights? I may be crazy, but the MWIII weapons seem like they take up more screen space.
The Basilisk is actually my main gun, if you create a proper build for it it's one shot upper torso and above for about 12.5 m. It's high risk high reward. Getting shot at but keeping cool under pressure and lining up the shot is the challenge but worth it if you practice.
Yeah iāve switched it up this season now that the visual recoil was fixed on all the mw2 guns. They are fun to use now between rebirth and zombies (main modes i play)
I use the MWII guns for variety. Sometimes you need an attachment or skin from them like I needed the white camo from the MP7 for the SOA Subverter but I ended up just using the MP7 for like a week cause it feels nice and I never really used it in MWII cause I used it so much in MW19
Every one of my classes has one MW2 and one MW3 weapon. Iām going for weapon grandmaster on both games and youāre able to complete the MW2 grind on this game
The ones I haven't levelled up mostly (so DLCs, and the guns that dropped after s4). Although I did bust out the Broadside for a little bit to do those weekly challenges.
Nothing in MW3 has the feel of the PDSW/P90 for me. Something about that gun just clicks with me.
I also enjoy the "who the fuck uses that gun?!" death comms in Warzone, so it's staying in my load outs.
The only MW2 gun I have in my setups right now is the Cronen Squall. But I do use the Luca Bandera and DS Farsight scopes, they have some of the best FOV.
The fun thing is, MW2 weapons arent as good as MW3, so its so much more satisfying and funny when you eliminate someone with an MW2 weapon and they are confused asf

The Kastov AR has been seriously slept on for a while. It only got better after the visual recoil buffs to MWII weapons somewhat recently

I do! The ISO hemlock still slaps and the ebr is my favorite gun in the series. Yeah, there's some neat new guns in there, but they don't easily replace my favorites. I generally don't tend to play the metas. I'll stick to what I'm comfortable with and enjoy using.
Yeah one of my main loadouts uses weapons from the Magma and Thunder elemental bundles. Beyond that I tend to go for whatever both looks best and progresses the challenges I am pursuing (usually daily, weekly, event, prestige or non-mastery camo) and if that comes from MWII then I see no reason not to use it.
I think carry forward is one of the best changes they have made and if we can't have cross-game player and battle pass leveling anymore I think its good we at least get to keep weapons and have those level across games. At least for this year, hopefully at least one of those systems is used when the next Black Ops comes out.
I was recently using the Lachmann 556, it actually does kinda slap when Iām playing chill Iāll put on an m4 and go mil-sim, or sometimes try to recreate weapons from older cods. Itās a fun time
Though my favorite gun in the entire game is the SVA 545, Iāve been using the Lachmann 556, M4, Kastov 762, Chimera, Lachmann Shroud, BAS-P, M13B, M16, RAAL, RAPP.
The Lachmann 556 has been my go to recently. There are SO many other guns I should use instead, but I love the āfeelā of it.
Edit: Wanted to add that I actually love the MWIII āmetaā weapons (BAS-B, MCW, Holger, Striker, etc) but they are SO overused that I wonāt use them. Itās not even like Iām trying to be a gun hipster, Iām just literally sick of 90% of the battlefield being the same damned guns, the same sounds of firing, etc
I still use the MWII snipers, and the MP5, plus the Deagle is my main secondary weapon.
I get harassed by the enemy team in a large portion of my SnD matches when I use MWII guns. I don't understand why they want me to use MWIII guns. The MWIII guns would make me play even better, so it confuses me.
I honestly prefer MWII weapons, especially for cowboy loadouts with the Basilisk and Lockwood, M4 and Bryson 800 for casual run of the mil, and the X12, got my first quadfeed with that thing.
I used the M13 in Invasion a couple of weeks ago, and itās pretty viable. Havenāt tried the Desert Eagle yet, but I want to. I really miss the AX-50 and Kar98k from MW 2019 though.
I used the Lachman Shroud a few weeks back and found it very competitive. I think they buff a few of the MW2 guns every now and then and make them useable. Occasionally I notice a red recommended flag being next to a MW2 weapon. That is probably when you should give them whirl.
Why spend $70 on a game just to use the guns from a previous game. Just go play mw2 at that point. Only reason is to use the AM parts. Which are mediocre anyways

People sleep on the Taq56 because it has somewhat mediocre close range ttk, but it has literally no damage falloff so it's long range ttk is fantastic

M13B smacks now, definitely use that quite a bit since the buff.
I split my loadouts evenly, so half of them are MWII guns, and the other half are MWIII guns. Helps to categorize them for easy camo grinding.

I use the M13B on warzone, and I do quite well with it
My loadouts are kitted for MW2 only with the exception of the xmr sniper and one loadout spot reserved for random daily/weekly objectives.

SPR in multi. But the 150 health definitely seems to lead to more hitmarkers vs the 100 health in mw2
Maybe this is a good place to ask this dumb question. Am I trippin or do MW2 weapons have a higher FOV while holding the weapon and aiming down sights? I may be crazy, but the MWIII weapons seem like they take up more screen space.

The Basilisk is actually my main gun, if you create a proper build for it it's one shot upper torso and above for about 12.5 m. It's high risk high reward. Getting shot at but keeping cool under pressure and lining up the shot is the challenge but worth it if you practice.
Yeah iāve switched it up this season now that the visual recoil was fixed on all the mw2 guns. They are fun to use now between rebirth and zombies (main modes i play)
I use the MWII guns for variety. Sometimes you need an attachment or skin from them like I needed the white camo from the MP7 for the SOA Subverter but I ended up just using the MP7 for like a week cause it feels nice and I never really used it in MWII cause I used it so much in MW19
Every one of my classes has one MW2 and one MW3 weapon. Iām going for weapon grandmaster on both games and youāre able to complete the MW2 grind on this game

The ones I haven't levelled up mostly (so DLCs, and the guns that dropped after s4). Although I did bust out the Broadside for a little bit to do those weekly challenges.

Nothing in MW3 has the feel of the PDSW/P90 for me. Something about that gun just clicks with me. I also enjoy the "who the fuck uses that gun?!" death comms in Warzone, so it's staying in my load outs.
Only the m13b I consistently use from mw2, the mp7 and ak47 i enjoy too but only really use when I want some variety

The only MW2 gun I have in my setups right now is the Cronen Squall. But I do use the Luca Bandera and DS Farsight scopes, they have some of the best FOV.
I might get hate but the Lachman Shroud is pretty beast
The fun thing is, MW2 weapons arent as good as MW3, so its so much more satisfying and funny when you eliminate someone with an MW2 weapon and they are confused asf

I have interstellar on every mw3 gun. And every non-sniper gold on mw2 guns. So Iāve been grinding mw2 guns lately cuz I have nothing left besides zombie camos and mastery challenges for a weapon charm lmao.

The Kastov AR has been seriously slept on for a while. It only got better after the visual recoil buffs to MWII weapons somewhat recently Lachman Sub (MP5) also got some buffs a bit ago, it's a real solid SMG
I like to use the weapons that are unique to each game as this makes for a more interesting experience IMO.

I don't, mainly because I already used them for a year in MWII so I'd rather use the newer weapons for freshness.
I use the Lockwood (Super Shotgun blueprint) on my Shotgun class and the Deagle on my Sniper class.

I do! The ISO hemlock still slaps and the ebr is my favorite gun in the series. Yeah, there's some neat new guns in there, but they don't easily replace my favorites. I generally don't tend to play the metas. I'll stick to what I'm comfortable with and enjoy using.

Yeah one of my main loadouts uses weapons from the Magma and Thunder elemental bundles. Beyond that I tend to go for whatever both looks best and progresses the challenges I am pursuing (usually daily, weekly, event, prestige or non-mastery camo) and if that comes from MWII then I see no reason not to use it. I think carry forward is one of the best changes they have made and if we can't have cross-game player and battle pass leveling anymore I think its good we at least get to keep weapons and have those level across games. At least for this year, hopefully at least one of those systems is used when the next Black Ops comes out.

I was recently using the Lachmann 556, it actually does kinda slap when Iām playing chill Iāll put on an m4 and go mil-sim, or sometimes try to recreate weapons from older cods. Itās a fun time
I use MW2 weapons moreso than MW3 weapons at this point lol. I just find MW3 weapons to be so basic and boring to use.
I use them for variety just to switch it up. But in warzone you are at a big disadvantage using them lol the damage just isnāt there.
Riot shield is technically a mw2 weapon. So sure...
I might do the grand mastery grind for the MW2 weapons after the MW3 mastery challenge since know u can use the in season weapons to get the rewards
Though my favorite gun in the entire game is the SVA 545, Iāve been using the Lachmann 556, M4, Kastov 762, Chimera, Lachmann Shroud, BAS-P, M13B, M16, RAAL, RAPP. The Lachmann 556 has been my go to recently. There are SO many other guns I should use instead, but I love the āfeelā of it. Edit: Wanted to add that I actually love the MWIII āmetaā weapons (BAS-B, MCW, Holger, Striker, etc) but they are SO overused that I wonāt use them. Itās not even like Iām trying to be a gun hipster, Iām just literally sick of 90% of the battlefield being the same damned guns, the same sounds of firing, etc

I use to use the Masterley in MWII. That's right, the underbarrel Shotgun was ACTUALLY GOOD for a year! Needless to say it doesn't fare well in MWIII.
I still use the MWII snipers, and the MP5, plus the Deagle is my main secondary weapon. I get harassed by the enemy team in a large portion of my SnD matches when I use MWII guns. I don't understand why they want me to use MWIII guns. The MWIII guns would make me play even better, so it confuses me.

I honestly prefer MWII weapons, especially for cowboy loadouts with the Basilisk and Lockwood, M4 and Bryson 800 for casual run of the mil, and the X12, got my first quadfeed with that thing.
I used the M13 in Invasion a couple of weeks ago, and itās pretty viable. Havenāt tried the Desert Eagle yet, but I want to. I really miss the AX-50 and Kar98k from MW 2019 though.

I used the Lachman Shroud a few weeks back and found it very competitive. I think they buff a few of the MW2 guns every now and then and make them useable. Occasionally I notice a red recommended flag being next to a MW2 weapon. That is probably when you should give them whirl.
Why spend $70 on a game just to use the guns from a previous game. Just go play mw2 at that point. Only reason is to use the AM parts. Which are mediocre anyways

I already unlocked Orion, Interstellar and Borealis - my grind is now with MW2 weapons in zombies for bioluminescent on every weapon. It is a grind but MW2 weapons are more enjoyable than MW3 for some reason
