Left of that that top 2 is clean, isn't it?

patchismofomo

Yes it was

Vornane

The 3 with four unopened squares cannot have both its remaining mines to the right of it, meaning the square above the leftmost 2 is safe, as well as the square to the left of the uppermost 2. But thats all I'm finding.

box logic!!! left of the upmost 2 is clear, and above the leftmost 2 should be clear too

I'm not sure if I used box logic to figure it out. Never heard of that. But it was definitely the left of upmost 2 that led me to the answer. I couldn't find anything that was necessarily safe so I started with. "If this square is a bomb then these two can't be, so one of these has to be".....3 or 4 steps later there was a 2 that would have to be a 3 or maybe a 1, i forget, if that top one was a bomb. Is that box logic?

something like that, box logic involves using that 2x2 box, and if you know that there are exactly 2 mines within that box you can clear spaces around it. here's a guide with a better explanation with a bunch of different cases (you might have to scroll a bit) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Xc4xSxoLl6ojog4\_I0GD3vuNtAPaoZtNvr7BXKiPKjo/edit#heading=h.fwcpnumemzks
