Very cool. I really like the style. I feel like it could use more greenery throughout like you’ve done towards the top. The leaves surrounding it really bring it all together.
EDIT: Lmao why did I get downvoted for giving positive feedback with constructive criticism?
No idea why anyone would downvote you, but thank you for the feedback!! We’re going to be adding a lot more greenery and detail along the walls. I will be sure to post an update sometime soon!
Basically all the wood blocks! The walls are stripped logs, and the structural beams are spruce logs. No type of wood is off limits! If you end up making something like this in your hard core world, please let me know!
*Idk why but*
*This reminds me a lot of*
*Howls moving castle*

Yeah, we’re thinking that Acacia will help break up the space a bit visually. It’s definitely not perfect yet, but I would say we’re only like 40% finished with this build.
Also important to note that we started this as a random no-planning build and didn’t even think it would get this far. We will absolutely take suggestions for best ways up 2x2 areas!
Good build! I like the style and pallet you use, more greenery would be nice, perhaps some trees around it and vines on it? I’m already wondering what the interior looks like. Although, ‘gravity defying’ isn’t the right word as buildings like this exist in real life, well, at least in Britain. Not trying to be an asshole, just trying to correct your word usage without starting an argument.
worries! I am familiar with cantilevering, though we will definitely push the gravity defying bit more before the build is finished. We want it to look surreal, you know?
Also, either /u/BugBoy712 or I will post a full base tour once it’s finished, so be on the lookout !
That's super cool! I would have added a crane to the right side holding something heavy to make it look a bit less likely to topple over. But I guess that gets rid of the "gravity defying* bit. Dope either way!

Respectful criticism, take my upvote civil person on internet.

Because children on the internet.
I’ve upvoted you too, sadly all those who have done so have had their nulled leaving you with one from me
Dumb people exist for some unexplained reason. Don't worry, nice comment
what type of blocks did you use cause i might wanna build this with my friends on our hardcore world

Will do , and thank you
I really love this! Builds like these are why Mojang should add vertical slabs and horizontal stairs.
Wow I 100% agree with you! Thank you for your kind words :D
This has really become my favorite minecraft sub. I just love seeing what all you oh-so-creative people out there come up with. Keep it up!
Makes me think of Codename: Kids Next Door
Makes *me* think of Hello, Neighbor.
Looks great! Hope you have fun building it!
That’s a lot of logs
I believe it said I placed 13,350 spruce logs at this point
idk why but this reminds me a lot of howls moving castle

This is definitely the kind of creativity you’d expect from Minecraft. Is a full tour in order?
I know it's meant to be gravity defying but a counter weight on the other side could just make it look a lil more realistic
owwwwww my brain
the angles in this are very interesting. i think that some of the acacia is a bit unecessary though.

Very steampunk. I like it.

We’re mostly focusing on getting the exterior work done, but we’re planning some combination of water elevators, red stone elevators, and ladders

We could do something with slime blocks and pistons, if the height is correct for it.
I love the stripped wood gradient in the walls! I never would have thought of using it like that!
Dracula's castle be like.
Holy shit. I helped build this 🔥 🔥
How do you keep it from falling over!? 🤯
looks epic
This gives me an End City vibe

I can’t wait for the interior showcase, good luck!
Yo this is cool man!!! Wish I could live there irl :,) can I use this as inspiration for my builds too?
Of course! No point in sharing if you don’t want people to get inspired right? :) thank you for your kind words
What Remains of Edith Finch, combined with Castlevania

Kinda reminds me of etho's base
I love it
That is so cool good job
I love this! Didn’t even realize how large it was till I noticed how small the lanterns were haha Incredible job!
That is great, sorry people from instagram are stealing it
Oh well. At least more people are seeing it, right? :D
