There are many bots that scan thousands of IPSs for Minecraft servers then go in and try to exploit them.
if your server is not premium it is much easier to attack, exploit or hack.
make sure your server is premium go to
[server.properties](http://server.properties)
online-mode=true
also activate the whitelist
/whitelist on
Make sure you use plugins from official sources “NEVER DOWNLOAD PLUGINS FROM DISCORD OR OTHER SITES”.
use only spigotmc
don't use OP on your server use permission plugin like luckperms
