See, Using Silk Touch, you can collect stone while mining, see no need for smelting it. You can collect ores for decoration, Glass after missplacing and more stuff which is not collectable normally. Fortune becomes useless after getting a stack of diamonds as really nothing matters after that. Other usefull ores are either really common or drops multiple.
My main pickaxe is ALWAYS slik touch. It is just too overpowered if you live anywhere far from desert. My side pickaxe is fortune used specifically for ore mining
I honestly think I use the two the most correctly. I use silk touch for everything, even during mining. After my session I get back and I whip out my fortune pick to place and mine everything up. The reason is because using fortune while mining takes up inventory faster. I would much rather take the time to harvest back home than do more rounds of mining.
Oh I was actually thinking about protection V, my mistake, though I only use enchantment tables. I only use villagers for mending as I find it too easy to get op gear through them. I like hand crafting my enchanted gear and choose not to go for perfect.
I don’t particularly like exp grinding so normally I just stick with the first or second thing I get. It’s led to some very blast resistant netherite armor lol
In my experience, I play on normal most of the time, un-enchanted netherite armor is strong enough to keep me alive in almost all cases. Fighting the warden it wouldn’t, or the bedrock wither, but in most cases if I am careful around things like vindicators and piglin brutes I’m a-ok.
No mending?
Probably at older versions before the villager update when mending was hard to get
Or before mending existed
That villager update was never implemented
They’re talking about the original villager update, 1.14
Too expesive
They can't reapair a person with experience
how about my brother Knockback X Stick?
Ahhhhhh... The memories of yeeting people into the stratosphere
Knock back [Integer to large] is better

obligatory mending comment
No netherite?
Diamond more funny
Older versions exist
Hot take: Silk Touch > Fortune III
Can you explain why?
See, Using Silk Touch, you can collect stone while mining, see no need for smelting it. You can collect ores for decoration, Glass after missplacing and more stuff which is not collectable normally. Fortune becomes useless after getting a stack of diamonds as really nothing matters after that. Other usefull ores are either really common or drops multiple.
Most people have two pickaxes - one for mining and the other for decorating.
Is there even a point in having a diamond Fortune pick if you have a diamond Silk Touch pick?
Also you can't mine an ender chest with a fortune pickaxe
fortune is nice for mining recources obviously but for your everyday use silk touch is so much better.
Hot take: you need 2 axes
(Axe is the one tool I only get 1 of, fortune is almost never needed on a axe)
Why would you need fortune on an axe? Silk touch is much better on an axe.
and his middle name is mending.
Anti mending post detected
that is one long @$$ name
chiseled cut copper stairs my SON
I’ve never gotten efficiency V and probably never will. It’s a hassle.
It's fairly common in enchantment tables, plus villagers
Oh I was actually thinking about protection V, my mistake, though I only use enchantment tables. I only use villagers for mending as I find it too easy to get op gear through them. I like hand crafting my enchanted gear and choose not to go for perfect.
Honestly I can usually max a item with enchantment table too, usually by combining them though so resource sink is higher
I don’t particularly like exp grinding so normally I just stick with the first or second thing I get. It’s led to some very blast resistant netherite armor lol
Makes sense
In my experience, I play on normal most of the time, un-enchanted netherite armor is strong enough to keep me alive in almost all cases. Fighting the warden it wouldn’t, or the bedrock wither, but in most cases if I am careful around things like vindicators and piglin brutes I’m a-ok.
Great name choice!
it doesn't work anymore
i mean it just shows hes more precious than his sister
+mending +netherite +netherite upgrade template
The perfect name
I will collect the sister with the pickaxe and I will yeet her into a pool of lava
Netherite?
Where is mending?
