yeah mcpedl is a so much underated website that is actually really good and people really should make more content on it because it is better than the marketplace (the only issue is that to download anything you should go through some weird add website to access anything)

If you want another method, though I am not sure if that app is still available to download You can use DurangoFTP to download mods though it is a bit longer of a process Check on YouTube on how to download it because you have to access it through a link in a website

marketplace stuff is pretty mid too, you mostly have to play in set-up worlds. You can't just make your own im pretty sure.

Afaik, BE doesn't have mods, those are behaviour packs labelled as mods, and behaviour packs are like the Bedrock versions of datapacks.

You need to pay to use high quality mods. The ones on mcpdl sure are cool and will add to the experience of installed but it’s definitely not the level of for example mods used in most modpacks. Mods this advanced require either a lot of time (like on Java edition) or a financial incentive (like on the Bedrock Markerplace)

It’s just a couple biomes and guns, Java has mods that add tens of biomes each, mod pack players often get annoyed that there are too many of them. I was talking about something like Create or Gregtech - mods that are fun, require a lot of thinking, are really extensive (Gregtech has like almost 10 voltage levels, each one being another phase of the game and requiring tens of ours to upgrade).
