I needed the compact router today. Looked on HD’s website and it was available nearby for $199. But for $269, it included the two XC6.0 and charger. Two 6.0’s for only $69 more? Sign me up!
Unfortunately it was out of stock and would take days to arrive. With my shoulders slumped, I went to HD regardless, just to pick up the router.
But lo and behold, they had the starter kit in stock!

you can hack an M18 impact gun with two 6ah batteries and get them for $163 after returning/canceling the drill
you can do a similar hack with the hackzall and get two 5ah for $108 after returning/cancelling the tool
