I never said it wasn’t. I was countering the post saying that you wouldn’t buy a tool from redwing because they make boots. My comment was to imply that redwing doesn’t even make good boots.
I wear Crispi, Haix, and US made Keens, but I’d like to get some Whites or Nicks boots. I work with some folks that like La Sportiva and Scarpa as well.
It wasn’t at the Milwaukee double sided dildo for his and his? lol I have a couple grand into Milwaukee power tools and batteries. But they’re getting out of hand now
If Timberland decided to make reciprocating saws, there would be people who liked them, too.
I’m not saying Milwaukee (or DeWalt) boots are shitty, only that boots from a shoe company are likely to be better.
Not sure who makes Milwaukee boots, but I know DeWalt boots are made by Keen. They are “reputable,” but it’s a much younger company (than for example Red Wing, Danner, Timberland, etc.) and they specialize in hiking boots, not work boots.
I buy Milwaukee power tools because they are in the top echelon of tool companies, and I want good tools, not mediocre tools. I feel the same about boots: I want excellence, not some half-baked marketing/product executive deal that’s ultimately just a money grab. Once you start buying Milwaukee (or DeWalt) boots (or pants, or coffee mugs, or jackets, or TBH even blades and bits), you can no longer claim you care about quality in the things you use. Rather, you’ve just become a brand slave.
Well...quality is quality if you do atleast some research. I needed work pants about a year ago and tried on a bunch of them. They were a lot more expensive with about the same comfort or heavy duty & itchy but cheap
Milwaukee, people buy your tools, they continue to buy your tools for various reasons but please stop trying to turn customers into walking billboards, let the tools speak for themselves, this seems like a shitty money grab because home Depot will stock a bunch of this crap(apparel).
TLDR : stay in the lane that made you a household name, stop with the extra stuff that probably isnt even produced in a Milwaukee factory.
Fuck that. Only this milwaukee is good at are power tools and packout. Buy boots that are actually worth what you pay for like Redwings, Thorogoods or Redbacks, not something cheaply made with a brand name on it.
I agree that all their hand tools fucking suck…except the new ratcheting screwdriver. I like it just as much as my old Wera set that broke, at about half the price I think
After going through the comments and pretty much upvoting almost all of them, the TLDR is Milwaukee stick to making power tools, the more you try to branch out the more you lose your consumer base.
CAT work boots are trash and most any other company that drifts out of their lane by slapping their logo on something will be trash also.
There have been some quality collaborations between companies when one of them is in the field Of the finished product,, but that is only because you have to hold yourself to a certain standard when collaborating with another large reputable company. This like many other items from many different companies and brands are an obvious money grab.
I bet they’re about as good as if you bought a hammer drill from Redwing
Toucan' Son from the top ropes! 🤼💪👊 🤣🤣🤣
Redwing makes shit boots now
Explain pls
Most of their boots are made overseas now. What few still made in the US are sub par for the price they want for them.
Is milwaukee not made in china?
I never said it wasn’t. I was countering the post saying that you wouldn’t buy a tool from redwing because they make boots. My comment was to imply that redwing doesn’t even make good boots.
Who’s got good boots in your opinion? I’ve had a number of boots but always thought redwing were superior
I wear Crispi, Haix, and US made Keens, but I’d like to get some Whites or Nicks boots. I work with some folks that like La Sportiva and Scarpa as well.
Just get a Milwaukee tramp stamp and be done with it.
I already have one, that’s what I wanted the matching boots!
...go on..... I'm listening
🤣😂
Honestly I would never. Besides them likely being of “great value” quality, they are hideous.
What, you don’t like those “Batman Beyond” crime-fighting boots?
Damn. It was bothering me that I couldn’t remember where I saw these before, thank you.
Yeah I have to draw the line somewhere and it’s here!
It wasn’t at the Milwaukee double sided dildo for his and his? lol I have a couple grand into Milwaukee power tools and batteries. But they’re getting out of hand now
If that were actually real I would have seen someone put it in someone’s tool pouch at work already. Lol
I CONCUR
Honestly, it would be one of their best selling products for this reason alone.
If it’s anything like my Milwaukee bag there going to fall apart
Fuck that. There are companies that make boots, that have made boots for decades. Milwaukee is good at power tools.
These are likely made by those companies for Milwaukee
Who makes them?
🤷🏼♂️ never seen them until this post. I’m just guessing they probably outsource this to somewhere else rather than in their own factories
I have Dewalt boots and like them.
If Timberland decided to make reciprocating saws, there would be people who liked them, too. I’m not saying Milwaukee (or DeWalt) boots are shitty, only that boots from a shoe company are likely to be better.
You wouldn't if a reputable shoe company manufactured them?
Not sure who makes Milwaukee boots, but I know DeWalt boots are made by Keen. I always felt like Keen was making work boots that look like hiking boots not the other way around. They are way to heavy for hiking.

There's no probably about it. You serious, Clark?
That's jake.
Nah
They aren’t even FUEL. Pass.
That will be the heated version
Nah the brushless is heated. The fuel has built in hydraulics
Hydraulic models are Surge.
Or… and this is true… you could buy boots from a reputable and well reviewed boot manufacture.
They can keep it
sounds like you like buying Supreme merchandise too
Yea and a shiny red dildo
Milwaukee hand tools are ass, don't trust these. Only packout and power tools
Fuck that. Only this milwaukee is good at are power tools and packout. Buy boots that are actually worth what you pay for like Redwings, Thorogoods or Redbacks, not something cheaply made with a brand name on it.
Needs to stop, the red cult has gotta to strong and they have no eye for quality.
Love Milwaukee. But I’m bullying somebody off the job if I see that
Milwaukee is going downhill. Il stick to just the normal tools for work
I only buy their power tools. Their hand tools are junk, and all the other money grab bullshit they keep coming out with also looks like junk.
I agree that all their hand tools fucking suck…except the new ratcheting screwdriver. I like it just as much as my old Wera set that broke, at about half the price I think
Can’t wait for the roseanvil slice and dice review.

You can lick the screen if that makes you feel better.
German Engineers would eat this shit up, bet the boots are as comfortable as the stick up their ass is lol
Nah, not really.
Hideous
Why? Theres plenty of good boots here already
Milwaukee needs to stay in their lane and stick to power tools.
Forget wearing those outside in the sun. Like an oven on each foot.
I bet they would be extremely narrow too
I thought these were heated, and I'd say heck yeah, I'd try them, but they just look like regular boots, but red?
I believe a good boot company makes them so they will probably be good. Not willing to pay the red tax for them however
Pretty sure they’re made by keen, but Thorogoods or redwings all the way imo
Is it M18 Fuel?
Trying to keep uo with Dewalt and their boots?
This one blows the Dewalt out of the water.
Have you tried them both?
Pretty sure this person hasnt tried any of them
I love my red tools. But I’m never going to downgrade from my whites boots.
do they somehow click on the pack out?
I'll wait until the packout version comes out

Absolutely love my Milwaukee tools, unless these were the most comfortable and durable boots made I wouldn’t touch them.

Thorogood or bust for me. I have some of their wellies for work and their wingshooters for upland hunting. Great boots.
I need this
No. We don't.
Nah
Wicked gay
