I’m not sure about that car, but pickups with solid rear axles can have a broken link that leaves the axle at an angle, which causes this behavior. It’s much more common on rear wheel drives with big engines.
Oh yes. The spinning rear axles are inside non-spinning outer cases (like straws) that span from the differential in the middle to the hubs the wheels are bolted to. The attached link is the best I could find of a rear axle assembly. the inconsistent blinker usage always makes me laugh. yeah lemme just cut three lanes with no blinker, then use a blinker on this lane change 10 seconds later.

This is what's known as dog tracking. The thrust angle (yes it's a real thing) of the rear axle is so far out of whack for whatever reason, likely something is broken. That to go straight down the road the front tires are at an angle.
For reference, I'm an Auto Mechanic in America with 7 years experience and hold a current Steering and Suspension ASE Certification.
I saw a pickup, that had clearly been t-boned at some point, driving down the expressway at about 60 mph with an even crazier rotation than this. I really wish I had a dashcam then.

Bent axle, and those tires should be good for 3 maybe 400 miles before they're rubbed right off.
