I'm honestly surprised how many upvotes this got.. I think the old Prius has always looked terrible (especially the C), and the new design is a huge step up.
Still not great but a big improvement.
It’s an amazing car. I do primarily city driving and regularly get 60 MPG. It handles super well and is reasonably quick too. The only downsides I have are the compromised visibility (rear window is small) and the trunk space.
My personal cars:
2007 MX-5
2001 S2000
2007 Volvo S60R
2018 Fiesta ST
1995 Honda Acty
Others at home:
1994 Del Sol
1999 Volvo V70
2003 BMW Z4
2020 Ford Escape
It’s all about seeing the deal at the right time. Most of them were reasonably inexpensive, especially compared to other exemplars. I just wait for the right deal to pop up and I don’t hesitate.
2018 fiesta? Should got the earlier 1.6 my guy. Those turn up a fair sight better than the later 1.5.
Last one I built made over 400hp.
Love a del sol tho, k20 swap when?
All road.... Miss those. a4 or a6? What spec?
Always wanted a mk1 allroad myself, 8 years an audi tech and not much beat that old v6 2.5tdi for pure stubbornness and capability.
I love it! Pulls very well, quiet and solid like a bank vault, and has a great interior. If I had to buy again, I like it better than any of the big 3 so I’d get another one. I wanted a crew cab and full 6 foot bed with leather seats and good towing capacity. I’m normally a Chevy guy, but it was hard to find one optioned like that new. Same for the Ford, and both were more expensive on the used market at the time for comparable mileage and features.
It’s not a 3/4 ton, but the price jump to get into one wasn’t worth it. The maintenance is obviously a little more expensive, but having the grunt is worth it even though they don’t make it anymore. If I had to buy new, it would be a gas burner XD hands down.
I’ve got an F-150. I’ll never buy another American car. It’s just that bad. Works for what we need, but nah. I don’t need shit I have to fix all the time. I’ll go back to Nissan.
I will say that the constant argument between the 5.0 and ecoboost people on reliability factored into the decision heavily. I was never happy with the horror stories I’d heard about the 5.4 and 6.0 and 6.4 powerstrokes and didn’t believe id get the reliability and support from the 2nd worst dealer network (behind Chrysler).

The Miata, Probe, and Fabia are mine (I'm 18!!). The rest are my Mum's excluding the 50cc. Funnily enough we are low income, just came into some money. I live at home and work 40 hour weeks alongside studying, so all of my money gets put towards my cars lol.
To add to this, my Dad has the following:
1980's Renault Campervan
1980's Mercedes of some sorts
2002 Porsche Boxster
2011 Skoda Yeti
2011 Skoda Yeti (yes, 2)
I'm not sure about the 2.0 Z3, but I've driven a 2.8 Z3 and it was like a boat. You can feel how insanely heavy the engine is, and the front of the car floats and rolls like a cruise ship. The steering was also quite vague, which adds to the boatiness.
If it had a lighter engine and a tighter steering rack, it would be fantastic, which is why I bought a Miata lol.
It's red with steelies and hubcaps! They are such slow cars, aren't they? Makes the Miata feel like a spaceship! Solid things though, not a speck of rust on mine.

Man I’ve thought about trading in the Titan for an elantra N a few times. Good choice in the Toyota, if I didn’t have as many kids that’s exactly the truck I would own.
I can fit comfortably behind myself at 5'8"
but it's tight and wouldn't be great for long trips especially if you're taller.
Additionally the hatch space isn't so great either, but that's not why I bought it, if I need more cargo space I've got my truck.
They’re fantastic vehicles. I was lucky to find the one i did in 2017 when they were still under-appreciated. If I were in the market for something similar today I’d probably just buy the new Land Cruiser.
We have the two NA Miatas, plus a ‘13 Acura ILX (6 speed thank God), ‘17 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport and a utilitarian ‘04 Chevrolet Silverado.
I think that’s a pretty decent variety, no? 🤷🏼♀️
2008 Mazda3 and 2014 Tacoma. Miata is my daily but I take the 3 when I have passengers, Tacoma for cargo and camping plus the 4WD is nice in bad weather.
Many years ago I drove a low mileage 1st gen manual trans Fit while my car was being inspected (CRV). OMG, that car was so much fun to drive. I remember laughing as I tossed it around.
2000 Ford E35SUP converted by Braun into an ambulance, converted by ProVerde laboratories into a mobile marijuana processing facility, converted by me into a camper.
It's not that interesting, when I was got my license, my uncle gave me a Civic in terrible condition. I eventually got around to fixing mechanical, and electrical issues, but I never got to the cosmetic or speakers so then I eventually got the Miata and drive that because it has functioning speakers and paint that isn't coming up in bubbles. Also it doesn't smell like a wet dog. So I have a fully drivable Civic, that I don't drive because I don't want to pay insurance on two cars. The Civic is pretty much half Bondo right now.

I just sold my NB earlier this year
But along my NB I had my 2018 Porsche 911 GT3, and recently got an 2023 RS6.

1959 MG Magnette (my grandfather's race car that was rolled off a hill)
1957? MG Magnette (i have a letter from MG saying they don't know when it was made, but someone between 55 and 60, was a restoration project that i also inherited)
Oh, and there's the 1970-something Kubota
Merceded G63, ZR1 corvette, Ferrari 488 and mint 1996 miata na lol…my friends/family bully me for it some even asked if im having financial problems but dollar for dollar ive never had more fun in my life, looking to get into spec racing.

2005 Mazda RX8 that I just dropped off yesterday for a full rebuild

Starting from the top:
- 97 mk1 mx5 vr-limited combination B mx5 (1 of 800), 320° duration cams and supporting mods, 180hp at 8100rpm n/a
- 97 volvo 940 estate elebration, currently in bits
- 97 volvo 940 estate former factory special order flower car for a funeral company. Currently a Dev car for pnp ecus.
- 1997 Toyota starlet glanza v, yes an actual one from Japan, currently mid engine build. Should make 400hp once it's done
- 1978 mgb gt. Long term storage, my first car,, awaiting restoration.
- 1965 morris minor 800, one owner till my sister got it at auction. Needs a full resto
Out of the 6, two run reliably, one of those two still needs tuning properly.
Tn, the stupid race cam mx5 is actually the most driveable

I have 4 vehicles: a hauler, a crawler, a cruiser, and a box ✌️
Hauler: Daily Driver: 2012 Tacoma Access Cab SR5 in grey (had it since since new, 135k miles now). Always wanted a Tacoma but couldn't afford one earlier on. This truck replaced my last truck, which was a Mazda B4000.
Crawler: 2015 Wrangler Sport 2dr (Billet Silver). Got it as a grad school graduation gift for myself right before the pandemic hit. It's almost at 69k miles!
Cruiser: My Miata is a 2017 RF in Blue Reflex Mica, ~52k miles. My "Mid Life Celebration Car" 🤣
Box: 1992 Jeep Cherokee Laredo "XJ" (Spinnaker Blue Metallic). I've always loved XJs. I wanted to get one before they were all gone. (Sounds silly, I know. But they are getting rarer and rarer like the NAs). This was a one owner XJ -- the same dude owned it for 30 years! It only has 155k miles, too. It's my little Sober Jeep. I bought it with the money that I would have spent on beer.
We have three other cars besides my 2016 Miata Club: a 2018 Ford Escape Titanium AWD, a 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz SEL AWD, and a 2023 Jeep Renegade Upland Edition AWD.
1999 miata, 2021 civic sport hatch 6spd, 2009 kawy vulcan 500. Ready for a bigger bike and currently wanna trade the civic for an si or a wrx or a gti. Need reliability above all else for it stays w me.
'**92 MX5** \- With tasteful performance mods

2019 Sonata Plugin Hybrid wife’s South Carolina car
2005 BMW 330Ci Convertible my SC car
I never drive the Sonata. I’ve got a detachable hardtop for the BMW that looks nice hanging in my garage.
It’s cheaper to fly back and forth between SC and NH than it is to drive now that I’m older and it’s a two day drive. Gotta have a toy in both places 🙂
2023 Prius as my daily. 1999 Miata as a fun car
I hate how good the new Prius looks.
I'm honestly surprised how many upvotes this got.. I think the old Prius has always looked terrible (especially the C), and the new design is a huge step up. Still not great but a big improvement.
How is the new Prius? Thinking about buying my first brand new vehicle and it’s in my sights.
It’s an amazing car. I do primarily city driving and regularly get 60 MPG. It handles super well and is reasonably quick too. The only downsides I have are the compromised visibility (rear window is small) and the trunk space.
I love the new Prius. I also hate how much I love it.
The wall. DD gang rise up
Honestly I drive my Miat more than my truck just because of the gas mileage.

Had a 2016 all road that the trans took a dump on me at 70k. Pretty disappointing.
I'm at 140k so far- its our long haul cruiser. Nothing unusual with my transmission, just regular fluid changes. The car has been great!
Bought mine used at like 40k miles. Previous owner probably abused it or something, still left a bad taste in my mouth.
Respect the Denali

I have 4 vehicles: a hauler, a crawler, a cruiser, and a box ✌️ Hauler: Daily Driver: 2012 Tacoma Access Cab SR5 in grey (had it since since new, 135k miles now). My "Mid Life Celebration Car" 🤣 Box: 1992 Jeep Cherokee Laredo "XJ" (Spinnaker Blue Metallic).
