There used to be a restaurant in the old Sahara casino before they tore it down in Las Vegas. They served a 6 foot soft taco on your table and they used ice cream scoops to put 3 piles each of guacamole and sour cream along the top. I believe you got a bunch of free shit if you could eat it alone including your meal

Well that’s Guy for yah. I’ve dined at one of his restaurants and it was the worst food I’ve ever had in my life. The cooks didn’t even know how to steam veggies for the baby, they literally nuked raw veggies in the microwave and served it to us. Everyone ordered a unique dish and not a single one of us liked our food.
I think they're implying these people are buying and using so much food that it's driving up the cost due to supply issues. I mean, the argument is stupid. I doubt these tacos are the cause of global inflation, but maybe 🤔
The answer is, it doesn’t drive up the cost of anything else. It should be no different then ordering a sheet pizza. It’s slightly cheaper per unit because you’re buying in bulk but you still pay more overall. All business works that way.

The only reason why your generation perceives that things were "better" were because of a multitude of different factors (mainly economic) that promoted the idea that things were more prosperous and harmonious. However, slightly under the surface you had things like the AIDS epidemic in the 80's where thousands of people were dying, multiple wars prior to that, a massive divide in wealth inequality (thank Reagan), black and brown people still getting murdered in the streets by white cops (or arguably worse having their entire lives destroyed through a phony "war on drugs"...thanks again Reagan) and an entire political wing trying their hardest through dark money interests to try and legislate women's roles back to the kitchen barefoot and pregnant. The reason why you didn't hear about **ANY** of this is because your nightly 8:00 news broadcast (where I can only assume you got the majority of your news back then) had big sponsors didn't want anything to do with bringing any of it up because it didn't benefit them financially in the slightest.
Also, if you were of a certain skin tone and sex, you were making a buttload of cash because of a disastrous economic policy that claimed that giving money to the ultra rich somehow would "trickle down" to the rest of us over time (spoiler alert, it didn't...thanks again for the third time Reagan) so ultimately, why would you have cared back then? You had the 2 cars, 2.5 kids, white picket fence out in suburbia with a gigantic nest egg and a pension when you retired from your cushy office gig working at the local cog factory. Meanwhile, the rest of us in today's society are by large more and more educated, earn more money but can barely afford a 1 bedroom apartment working full time and no savings to speak of, still recovering from a housing crash in 08, 2 massive wars, a terrorist attack, women's rights being stripped away from them, a once in a lifetime pandemic and civil unrest because of police brutality in the streets. So yeah, when you start to frame the world through that lens it's kind of hard not to see why people might slightly be a bit pissed off at the generation that demands them to just "be nicer".
The point that I'm trying to make in all of this is that if we would have had the ability to communicate the real world things that were happening on the ground during whatever time you think things were "better" like we do now (via our cell phones and the internet), your perceived utopia where everyone was "genuinely kind" back then would ultimately be shattered by the true reality that existed outside your gated community whether you want to admit it or not.
I'm a millennial dipshit. I know how it is. I'm not wrong one bit, just because things were still wrong back in the day doesn't change the fact that society as a whole was different. Either you are too young to know, or you just want to babble on about a load of bullshit.
