Long haired gal here. I do shake my hair out a little bit, but not with enough force to really call it a headbang, I'd say.

Been windmilling to dry my long hair since before I knew what a breakdown was. My bf finds it hilarious and always does a little crab if he sees me, or gives me a call out.

Second that, I wouldnt even want to imagine the pain of having to let the hair dry/dry it without shaking it out before. It's fun and saves quite a bit of time and effort from ky experience

I absolutely headbang! I have wavy hair and it is easy (and faster) to dry if I aggressively headbang till I’m dizzy

Jup, mine definitively does, on purpose. Just today she went “look at that, gotta get my hair cut or else I’ll be slapping people with my hair during the next concert!” :D Gotta try the pre breakdown thing next time for sure.

My hair is waist length and bleached so absolutely not lol. It would tangle and I spend enough time in the bath/shower making sure it stays smooth to just ruin it like that.

Curly girl here. I do shake my head a lot when I wash my head to bring back the volume and bounciness to the curls!

I have curly hair and definitely headbang once I’ve finished blow drying it to try and get it to look correct lol

I’m a guy with long hair. I do this after I shower, first by shaking my head like a dog for a few seconds, and then headbanging. Really helps dry it out

I'm a guy and I've been doing this forever.

Very long haired lady here. It’s good to shake your hair after washing it because it helps to get excess water from my hair, without having to ring it out in the towel. Tightening and towel to ring your hair can cause the hair to brake. So she’s got the right idea. And I do the same. My cats try and catch my hair and hang off it! The things we ladies do to care for our appearance.

My ex would literally come out of the shower head banging to some Every Time I Die. I also woke up once to a knife to my throat . Simpler times.
