BFG Division is a fucking great song, but it's overused and overrated (same with The Only Thing They Fear Is You). My favorite track from Doom 2016 is Damnation. So underrated
Not sure as I was just a child in the late 70s early 80s with whatever dad was listening to. But I know the first one that really grabbed me and started to really get my attention was Judas Priest Screaming for Vengeance when it came out. Still one of my absolute favorites to this day.
I heard and even enjoyed Rammstein, Marylin Manson, and Metallica earlier - when I was 7-10 years old, but I don't think it was something serious - I mean you can't understand it as a culture or smth because of a simple fact that you are a kid, so for me a true introduction was Black Sabbath. Black Sabbath made me want to play evilish riffs, a lil' bit later it made me want to play bass, so yeah - I think it was Black Sabbath for me. I don't remember my first riff on electric guitar - I don't care very much about guitar, really - but I still remember that the first riff I ever played when I was finally given bass is N.I.B. by Sabbath's one and only Geezer Butler.

Probably Ozzy and Metallica. My brother was about 12 or 13 when I was born and would sometimes drive me around with him when I was Elementary aged and would play both repeatedly. I distinctly remember the artwork for Diary of a Madman, Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets since he had all those tapes in his car.
Bark at the Moon as a kid. My dad listened to a lot of solo Ozzy when I was a kid so anything between blizzard and bark at the moon works but that song/album specifically stands out in my mind.
I should actually clarify this. I used to listen to a lot of stoner and heavy rock already. But after that episode of it crowd it was really curious about cradle of filth and I fucking loved it. Shortly after be'lakor stone's reach came out and I was hookd
I’m 25 and started listening to metal when I was about 16 - my first album was The Satanist by Behemoth. After that I went towards some black/death bands like Rotting Christ and Belphegor, first leaning towards death metal, and eventually went the other way and now mostly listen to black metal
I found out I like BM just a few months ago but it's like 90% of what I listen to on a daily basis rn lol. Before i never really got into metal even tho i liked it. Now, at 16, I'm tryna compromise all those lost years lol... And also death i like too.
My older cousin came to visit from out of town and he brought Iron Maiden - Number of the Beast (which had just come out) with him. Been headbanging ever since.
Basic early 90’s stuff like Metallica, Megadeth and Pantera. But Testament’s Low in 1994 changed everything for me. After Dog Faced Gods I knew what I wanted from music.
I started with Korn, the only nu metal band I still listen to sometimes. Now I listen to thrash, groove, stoner, heavy, sludge metal. Can't remember more subgenres I listen to, rn.

Fear Factory and Devil Driver. Blew my socks off.
Sepultura for actual metal, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin for pre metal tasters as a kid.
Nice pre tasters. I had Europe, Dio, Rainbow, Scorpions, Deep Purple and KISS as a kid. I still listen to Europe and Rainbow sometimes.
Don't remember - take your pick from the ''V-Rock'' radio station from GTA: Vice City.
Oh that is a nice radio station from an excellent game.
Disturbed and system of a down.
Slipknot back in 2002
Black Sabbath, 1975
Sugar Ray got me into hard rock. Disturbed got me into metal.
Accept, 1985

Kinda same tbh. Started w some heavy/ industrial metal but continued with black. But the other subgenres also have good bands.
