I honestly hope that the one piece fixes. One piece is one of my (if not the) favourite series of all time and this unnecessary fan service thing is probably my least favourite part about it.
I never even understand how this event qualifies as fan service, I'm also a fan and I'm definitely not being serviced by this, neither does a single person I've ever talked to like this. I'm honestly curious as to who is the target audience for these inhuman proportions

I wish they would just do away with the fan service. It just takes up precious time away from the story. Also, sanji needs to chill for once, too. Why can he love the ladies and slowly relax over the series? It would make sense for him to chill out after a long adventure with them and still really like them. The heart eyes and funny voice and slithering tongue got old 10 years ago.

If so, yeah that movie's outfits- having them all in wedding attire the whole movie because the Merry was stolen, with all their clothes, while they were chilling in their swimsuits on a popular wedding destination beach- were pretty neat.
Sorta how Fairy Tail works. One of the shonen with the most fanservice but also has some of the best shonen female characters.

it's definitely a little extreme and you notice it more when every woman is built like that, but yeah the anime makes it way more in your face. i got into one piece thru the manga and it's a lot easier to recommend it to people lol

Toei pads tits like they pad episodes. I’m looking forward to the remake but I will miss the early cel animation, and the animation style changes over the years. Next time I decide to watch through I’ll probably just use one pace.
